This FitBit was to replace an older Fitbit for my wife where the band was breaking. The size of the Alta is very nice as it is slim and still gives a readable display. The text reading feature is a nice addition over her previous FitBit that only did the phone notification.

The Fitbit Alta fits most, though not all, of my tracking needs. I LOVE the size and most features. Wish it were a bit more customizable. All in all a good intro tracker for someone who doesn't want a lot of the extra bells and whistles. Would definitely recommend.

I bought this FitBit as a gift for my daughter and a co-worker. I can say that this version seems to be the right size for a woman. Both people enjoy it and find it to be useful for what they wanted it for which is to provide data on their daily activity.

This is a handy little item to have and it is easy to use. BUT it is VERY difficult to put on. So much so that I have entertained the thought of returning it. Having to fight with getting it on for about 10 minutes each time is very irritating.

I love the alta better than the charge fitbit. It also sync pretty well with the note 5 even though it's not one of the approved devices it works with. Plus it looks nicer especially for women who dress up the charge for to male looking for women.

So I LOVE Fitbit , this isn't my first , before this I had the flex. But this one, the Alta, is WAAAAYYY BETTER!! I'm totally in love. Got rid of my Apple Watch and now wear this. I only charged it one time in 2 weeks. Battery life is AWESOME!!

It's great for what it's designed to do. Track fitness. But when it comes to the accuracy of the "touch" screen to actually track your workout from the watch, it not the best. But it's very accurate so overall it's a great product!

I've had 0 problems with my Alta and love that I can change the bands colors. I compete with my family and friends all the time now. It's quick to charge and very convenient to carry about vs always having my phone on me.

I absolutely love my Fitbit Alta! I highly recommend this product! I'm going to be purchasing another one soon for my mom. One thing I do wish is that it was completely water proof. I hope they'll come out with one soon.

Got this for my mom, who I'm trying to encourage to step more. She loves it, the look, the ease of use, the ability to tell time, the simplicity, and the color (plum). Easy to use, even for a luddite like my mom.

I love my Alta. I had the flex previously but I fell off and was worried about having the same fate with my new Alta. Purchased a new band which latches more like the surge. Now it's a forever perfect product!

I had a Fitbit Flex before this and finally upgrading. I like that it has a digital reading and I am able to see the amount of steps I have walked as well as the activity and calories I have burned that day.

Bought this for my mom because she wants to track her steps more and doesn't always have her phone on her. She likes it a lot. It connects to your phone over bluetooth as well if you want notifications.

The sleep tracker is very off again on again - and not very accurate at all. which is disappointing as that was a feature I really wanted to utilize. Also the strap is extremely difficult to clasp.

Liked the sleek look of the Alta in comparison to the Charge HR. Very easy to setup on the app & monitor all of your daily steps, intake & sleep. Makes me feel like I am really in touch w/my body.

We bought this for our 11 year old son. It is easy for him to use. Our only complaint is that the alta falls off of his wrist. This happens even when we double check to make sure it is on correctly.

Pros: It's sleek and easy to wear. I like the customizations you can setup for the device. The silent alarms is my 2nd best feature. Battery life is awesome Cons: It doesn't have an altimeter

I bought this fitbit to get a more feminine one. It certainly is that. Nice teal color and the screen works great. But the band discolors easily. My biggest problem is that it doesn't record steps if your arm is not moving. So if you are pushing a stolen or cart no steps recorded. My last fitbit recorded this with no problem. I hate that it doesn't record if your arm doesn't move. The only suggestions on the FAQ is to put it in your pocket. Not good enough. I would buy this if you have nothing to push, but if you do get a different fitbit.

I love how it pops up notifications from your phone. It'll read the text messages across the screen. And phone calls. I've downloaded the app too. So it keeps me organized to hit goals.

Better than the fitbit flex imo. The charger is a little better quality and so is the band. I like the ability to look at how many steps i have on the fitbit and not have to use my phone.
