I bought this for my daughter as a gift, and she has absolutely loved it! The 10,000 steps goal is forever a topic of conversation, as was the sleep monitoring at first. However, she found that the fitbit had to be pretty tightly affixed to her wrist to get a successful reading, which became uncomfortable, and has since abandoned participation with said feature. Still, it is a great watch and fitness monitor just the same.

I was a little skeptical about buying a fitness tracker but I am very pleased with this product.

Easy to use and has all the features you need to begin activity tracking. Price is right too

Great tracker-- we bought one of these for everyone in our office… So we can keep track and have contest for keeping fit… It took a while for the store employee to figure out that we could actually try on the band so we could figure out if we needed a small or large band. Hey manager finally told us after spending 15 minutes trying to figure it out that there were bands to try on--employees need better training

I have had multiple activity trackers and this one would have to rate at the bottom. The problems I have with it are as follows: 1. You have to beat it to get the display to show. 2. I can not see the display in sunlight. 3. When I receive a text, I have to beat it for it to display and if I hit it incorrectly, it disappears and can not be seen again. 4.. The band randomly disconnects from the watch and falls off. 5. Band is very stiff. Not that comfortable. 6. Has ridiculous statements to motivate me to get moving. Not helpful. 7. Charging cord is very short.

I had been wanting to try the FitBit Alta for a while so I finally ordered it. I liked the look of it but the features are too basic. It is not for someone who wants to keep track of their workouts. Really only good for seeing how many steps you walk... I would suggest an Apple Watch for accurate calories burned..

Alta looks great and works great. the most favorite parts are the large display compared to the Charge I used to own, and the interchangeable bands. I have also purchased a gray leather band which has been a great addition. Recommend it.

I like the size and features. The band could have a better closure.

Love my new Fitbit Alta, it comes in handy for keeping up with my steps and monitoring my sleep habits. I have been trying to determine why I don't feel rested when I get up in the morning and why some days I have to stay in bed for at least 12 hours before I feel as though I have had any sleep.

It's becoming an addiction just to see that I've got my 10,000 step goal for the day. Trying to keep healthy. Will do the challenges to keep me going! Really having a hard time adjusting to something on my wrist though cuz I never wore watches! I like the idea of interchangeable bands!!

I have owned the Flex, Charge and now the Alta. I love this one in that it is comfortable and sleek. It looks really nice on and I like the vertical screen. I didn't think I would like it but it's pretty neat. It also has the movement reminders which is nice.

I repeat, do not buy this product! There is currently a serious issue with these Alta Fitbits where they do not sync with phones, will not connect to Bluetooth and cannot be setup if you have windows 10. These issues are recognized by Fitbit and render the product useless. There will likely be a recall for this first shipment. If you desire an Alta, Monitor forums and Fitbit.com for updates regarding this issue. If you bought this as a gift, return it and purchase an older model, or a different brand. I will be returning my Fitbit Alta that I purchased today, 3/18/2016 and buying a similar product of another brand. Hope this review prevents potential customers as much frustration as I had.

My wife had been looking at getting a Fitbit recently, but was going to wait until later this year. Our daughters wanted to surprise her with the new Alta for Mother's Day. She absolutely loves it! Tracks everything that she needs.
