Wife and I both have one. Does the job and helps us stay motivated with their superior social media aspect. My wife has her set to give her messages and calls from her phone. I don't need that claptrap. But I'm slaying her in steps. So much so that she thought hers was broken at first.

I love the sleek design and it's lightweight feel. It's practically unnoticeable wearing especially when you're sleeping.

I love my Alta! It's easy to use and sync with the fitbit app. Very accurate and the alarm reminds you to keep going.

Bought this for my daughter who is 11 and she loves it... Very easy to use and setup... Battery lasts longer than the HR..

Highly recommend if you wear it. Great with reminders and keeping track of your steps. You can also compete with friends.

I exchanged the HR for this one because it was smaller and didn't scratch my arm wish it had the heart rate, but I love it

Love the sleek look. Previously had a Charge HR but started to look dingy. Really like the notification feature each hour if I don't have 250 steps for that hour. Gets me up and moving. Very easy to change bracelets. Can wear it casual during the day and change to appropriate evening look. Does not just give "dots" to estimate one's steps for the day like the flex, but does not give total steps like charge. Gives a rounded to the nearest tenth on a thousand which works for me.

I wanted something light and attractive to track my daily activity level - to know my daily patterns and if/when I should increase my activity. The Alta is attractive and light and I don't mind wearing it all the time everyday. Some have complained about the band -- yes, it is rubber, but robust and comfortable and I know I can get a different one if I need to. It was hard to clasp at first, but over a couple of weeks, it got flexible enough to that it is no longer a problem. I love it!
