My Fitbit Alta keeps me moving! I am motivated to meet my daily goals in steps and exercise minutes. Th e reminder to keep moving every hour is a great help! I believe the secret to good health is exercise. My Alta Fit bit seems to share my philosophy! My first fit it was a flex, it was w wonderful but the Alta gives me more information about my progress- I would definitely recommend the Alta.

this watch doesn't do apps - but it is small, light and good and keeping health stats

I bought the fitbit for my wife after a disappointing prior purchase of a less expensive, similar device. This unit is much easier to download to iphone, charge, and read on the wrist. I would have given the unit an Excellent rating but the band on the fitbit is very poorly designed. I have had to help her put it on numerous times hoping the holes in the band would eventually get worn a little. So far, no.

easy to set up and use only problem is the strap is hard to snap shut lost it twice

I love my fitbit and track food and exercise with it. Took 2 weeks to get it to close around my wrist, though. Took over 10 min each time. My husband coudnt get it to work either. I always store it in the position I wear it so the holes will be broke in. Working much better now, but still takes dexterity to do it. My daughter got a Charge fitbit and much easier to use as its like a normal watch attachment.

I think this product is great! It counts steps accurately and is very stylish to wear.

i got this for my wife, i read a lot of review before selecting this one. The best thats going with Fitbit is the App/ on IOS. Compared that to lets say garmin which i also have the fitbit is really really good. It holds up charge up to 4-5 days and she really does use it for workouts/walking. the band is not as comfortable but you can buy few after market ones even with certain designs.

I really love my fitbit!!!! I am starting a journey in to living a more healthy lifestyle. I was truly disappointed at first because I explained everything I was looking for to the BB team member and they did not meet my needs. Within a 2 week period I bought and returned 3 types of FitBits before I got the alta. Fits my tiny wrist and I love the color. Plus, I gives me everything I was looking for.

i received a Flex as a gift and upgraded to an Alta. i bought a 3rd party buckle watch band because the Fit Bit band is tough to fasten and not secure--lost Fit Bits can & do happen with its custom band. the sync is seamless with my iPhone and my MacBook, and most of the programs are very user friendly. Alta is comfortable to wear and the BlueTooth notifications for text, calls are emails are helpful -- not annoying or intrusive. Still, i I had to figure out some workarounds (aside from the watchband switch). For cycling, i had to fasten the Alta to my ankle--Fit Bit does not detect cycling movement. I am still trying to figure out the calorie intake program. It is not as user friendly--just overly-complicated and a good candidate for improvement ahead. thus my 4 Star rating---I took away a star for the non-sense calorie program, the non-detection of cycling, and the difficult Fit Bit custom watch band.

The fitbit alta is very stylish and does a good job keeping step count and track sleep

This was purchased for my wife. Very stylish and lasts 4-5 days per charge. She loves it. Only thing I wish that were added (perhaps in a future model) is a heart rate monitor, but the small form factor makes up for this. I think I will be getting both my parents one of these as well for upcoming gifts. Good price point.

Bought the Fitbit Alta when my Garmin died! Really liked the Garmin but the Fitbit is MUCH easier to sync and has a much better phone app and sleep tracking!! Only thing I miss is an option to manually start an exercise session. Fitbit is supposed to start recording sessions, like a run, automatically but doesn't always do so. Thus the 4 stars. Also love to be able to see the display - big plus!!

I got the Fitbit Alta for my wife because her Fitbit Flex didn't have a display for the steps. She really likes that it shows the steps, calories, miles, time, and sleep on the display and that she doesn't have to keep logging into the fitbit app on her phone. Was easy to setup and replace the Flex on the app. She can use it to gain points through her insurance company for free gift cards.

I bought this for my wife and she loves it. It is lightweight and doesn't look bulky.

Purchased for my daughter. Tracks all of her steps, active minutes and sleep.

These are a great, simple device to keep track of your daily activity and sleep.

It's lightweight, sleek, comfortable and I love that the band colors can be changed.
