Purchased one for my mom for Mother's Day to encourage her to be more active, decided I needed one in case I wanted to challenge her ;) ... Best self purchase in a long time... the 'nice' reminders to get up and move, the syncing with app on my iphone, the sleep tracking, the alarm feature, so many things to love, not enough daily steps (LOL) to get it all accomplished. Great purchase!

I bought this ad a gift to replace an older fit bit my wife lost. She thoroughly likes it. She bought a different band for it online that looks much more stylish than what comes with it. As an observer, I would be worried about the fact you have to tap on it to change screens, and I think over time,that functionality may falter. But for now it works great. And my wife is happy.

I like that it reminds you to get moving and that it is not bulky on the wrist

I previously had purchased a Fitbit Charge for my wife and I and was disappointed when the bands broke after 6 months of usage. You can't change the bands on the Fitbit Charge, only the Fitbit Charge 2. We proceeded to purchase the Fitbit Alta for our daughter instead due to costs and the ability to easily change bands. We will have to see how long the product last for.

This was purchased as a gift so I cannot comment on how accurate the product is. Set-up on the phone and computer was easy. Band is a little difficult to put on as it is stiff right out of the box. Other reviewers suggest heating the band with a blow dryer or warm water to soften until it has been broken in. I chose this model because of the interchangeable band and small footprint.

Love my new fitbit Alta .. only thing that I didn't love was the "wrist band"...easy correction ... bought a "wrist watch" type buckle clasp!!

So light weight and stylish while tracking all your fitness needs. Love it!!!

Pretty good provides basic information alongwith date time, steps taken, calories expended, miles walked, minutes of exercise. Good companion

When I bought this for my wife I was not sure but it has performed very well. So well in fact that I just ordered another Fitbit for myself.

I've done some research on this product so already knew what we were getting. Best buy experience was great.

I'm that person that wanted more than what I was getting from the flex but didn't quite want a charge due to its size. The Alta is perfectly in between. It offers a lot of the same features as the charge (minus heart rate) yet it's still dainty in size & offers the digital screen features. I love it and would recommend it to anyone who is debating between the flex and alta.

Loved the way it fit and how convienient all the information was. Very visible screen, easy to clean, and great at keeping me motivated with the daily reminders to move (if you set those up). Also love the fact that the interchangeable bands aren’t too expensive. Easy to clean as well! Would definitely recommend to any beginner or experience exerciser!!

Fitbit force me to exercise almost everyday. A lot of my gym buddies and friends have them so I kind of say, let me get one too. I check the reviews and this is the best item I purchased. Loving it and for the price, it's really worth it. Others should try because I'm starting to get addicted commiting a 10,000 steps per day. Yay!!! I'm proud of myself and you can do it too!
