My daughter loves it and that it tracks steps and monitors sleep!!

lightweight, good battery life, accurate tracking, app is easy to use

I purchased the Fitbit Alta for my wife to upgrade from another Fitbit product. This device does everything my wife needs it to do and does it well. Provides more information than her original device including alerting her when she receives a text message. The size of the Fitbit is perfect for my wife. Overall she is very happy with it and uses it everyday.

The Alta replaced my Charge since it was falling apart. The rubber kept separating from the tracking unit. How I wished that the Charge band was replaceable. The Alta granted my wish! Love the variety of replacement bands available, but not the price(s) for them. I'd rather have a replaceable band if it meant giving up the stair tracker. Still a great device!

I love my Fitbit it's a great way to track steps and also sleep.

We purchased this as a replacement to another brand that failed. So far it has performed very well. Clean narrow fit. You really don't even realize you have it on..... We struggled with which fit model to purchase but this one was the right solution. Big enough to read the text but small enough that it doesn't feel like a watch. Would buy again.....

I didn't want something bulky so I ended up with this. However I am some what disappointed. I wanted something that checked my heart rate. Well the guy helping me told me that this one did everything that the other one I was looking at did just smaller. My fault for not double checking what he said because this didn't include the heart rate monitor. There are times that I know for a fact that I walked the 250 steps in the hour and it hasn't logged it. It is also slow to update on the phone ap even if you just synced it some items will not show as synced. Trying to log in my exercise that I do outside of what the band registers too is a pain. Since it doesn't check your heart rate well I don't get a good actual count for my workouts because my workouts do not include walking or running.

The Best Buy representative was helpful in determining that I could get this, the latest model with available new software; or pay about the same for the 'older' model. I was curious to know why Fitbit hasn't reduced their prices on the other stuff. This one is great. Comfortable band, easy to read, notifies me of incoming calls and the battery lasts all week.

I like the updated style of the Alta....seems to be fairly accurate.

This device is an excellent fitness tracker. The slim slender screen provides the ability to see all of your information on the screen . If you have small wrists or are used to the Flex than this one will work just fine. The battery life is perfect and the charging connecting is very intuitive. Fitbit took great time into detail when they created this device.

Got it on sale. The cheaper ones did not work as well as this one. I guess some name brand products are actually better than not.

Alta Fitbit is very slender and comfortable. Great battery life.

This doesn't have all the bells and whistles that some of the other fitbits have, but it does enough for me! I like its understated look and comfortability. As for accuracy, I have nothing to compare it too....I'm just happy to see the step count increase. It easily bonded with my phone...the two are inseparable now and I feel like the third wheel.

AFTER OWNING THE THE LATEST S-----G TRACKER MY EXPECTATIONS FOR THIS UNIT WAS SOMEWHAT SHORT OF THE ACTUAL RESULTS. THE 5-7DAYS CHARGE HOLD WAS A PLEASANT SURPRISE! THE PROMTS BOTH AUDIO & VISUAL ARE HELPFUL ONLY A COUPLE WEEKS INTO USING THE ALTA WITH A INSANE SCHEDULE IT IS TURNING OUT TO BE BOTH A EXCELLENT ACTIVITY MOTIVATOR AND RECORD KEEPER.
