You can set your step goals, sleep goals etc. I like the fact it reminds you to move during the day while you are at your desk. It also tells you the time and day. It notifies you if you have a phone call or txt message. I don't like the band- too hard to close with one hand until it's broken in and frankly the plastic/rubber is kind of ugly.

Got this as a present for my wife after she said she was interested in getting one of these trackers. She loved it and I loved how easy it was to set up and get her going on the path to counting steps. Extra bonus with this model being able to sync to phone and display texts. It wasn't a feature we were looking for but ended up liking a lot. Enjoy!

I've had a Charge HR for a while and my wife wanted to get a Fitbit of her own. She really wanted something more pretty the a plain rubber band so I got her the Aria. She loves it and is looking forward to getting more bands to match every outfit. I like that it notifies her of calls and texts, my Charge HR only does call so I'm a little jealous.

i bought this alta as a gift; i already own two fitbit devices and cannot say enough good things about them. this was for my sister and she said that setup was a breeze. one cool thing about the alta is the fact that you can change bands :) one complaint that she had was that the display screen scratched right away and she was disappointed.

My wife was envious of my Fitbit Surge and wanted one herself, she settled on the Alta and has been very happy with it. She had one issue in that it was difficult to snap on at first, but it doesn't seem to be an issue now. We're both getting our steps in daily and like using the Fitbit. She likes the color, comfort, and ease of using her Alta.

I had a fitbit before and it was such a hassle to go to the computer for everything. I primarily wanted a watch and step counter. The Alta makes it so simple to see everything and to charge it. The charge lasts 4-5 days. Some things I didn't know is that it reminds you to move and it tells me when I have a phone call or text. Love it!

I am really happy with this fitbit activity tracker. It is very functional and has everything except for the heart rate monitor, which i really wasn't looking for in a fitness tracker. I also love the leather bands so you can wear them all day and they look more like your jewelry and not a bulky fitness tracker. Would highly recommend!

Simple to use and accurate readings. Useful and effective

Bought this to replace an apple watch whose battery "poofed" out and push the face plate off. This Fitbit stays connected to the phone better, charges last WAY longer, days versus hours. Very impressed with the tech in such a small device. My wife loves it. Being able to change the band everyday to match her outfit is killer!

I am finding my fitbit alta is motivating me to keep moving. I like the fact that it has a watch built in. The hourly reminders to move to get my 250 steps in each hour (9 hours a day and you can pick them) is helpful to reach my daily goal. The challenges with friends and family help each of us to reach our individual target goal each day.
