Customers are saying

Customers recognize the Alta Activity Tracker (Small) for its ease of use, small size, and effective step tracking capabilities. Many appreciate the sleek design, long battery life, and sleep tracking features, while also noting the accuracy of its data. However, some users found the band and clasp difficult to use, and the lack of a heart rate monitor was also a common point of feedback. Additionally, the display's readability in sunlight was mentioned as an area for improvement.

Stylish, fashionable fitness trackers, The display is slim and nice. the bands looks more like a jewelry, but I think both men and women can wear it. (recommended Solid Colors for men ). It a rash proof, fits nicely on the writs & doesn't get in the way of long sleeves.

Overall, I love this device but have lost it twice because the band snaps off at times I'm not always aware. Fortunately, I was also able to find it later and am now much more attentive to when it snaps off. But, it's still annoying. Love that it displays date&time&day as well as call phone caller id and text notifications.

The Fitbit Alta is a great product. It is slim with an easy to read and use display. I wanted something to keep track of my steps as I do not always carry my cell phone around with me. I love that this does that and so much more. I also love that I can see my text messages and see who is calling my cell phone on this device as well.

The Alta is easy to put on and I like being able to view my step, minutes and calories on my wristband. I also like the watch feature. The downside is I can't add my yoga and swimming to my dashboard. Of course, I may just not know how to access that feature to record the information. If that is its the case, it needs more easy to find.

Very light and perfect for everyday usage. Other ones I have tried tend to be bulky, heavy, or both. Very easy to setup and start using. This one was for my wife. She absolutely loves it. She is not the most tech savvy person but this time she did the start and setup without having to call me. Haha! I will take that any day.

Tracking, phone alerts, reminders to move, interchangeable bands... excellent tracker and has served my wife well. However, the band juts fell apart after almost a year. They are good about warranty and customer service is great but I give it 4 stars because I think their bands lack some durability. Excellent app. Hard to beat.

    Good Fitbit for Motivation

I have the Fitbit Alta in black. I like this Fitbit because it A, is a stylish watch, B, gives you motivational texts throughout the day to get you moving, and C, has vibrating alarms to wake you up gently. I don't like this Fitbit because A, the calories are WAY off (sometimes i will wake up and it says I took 5 steps and burned 350 calories), B, the steps are off (if you wiggle your arm it'll give you 20 steps, if you scratch your head that's another 10 steps), C, there is a setting where a flower will grow when you are doing physical activity (it's really cute, but if you drive or are being driven anywhere it says you are doing the maximum about of activity and your flower grows as big as it can be), D, the calories are WAY off (it is the afternoon and all I have done today is sit and occasionally walk around, and it says I burned 4,600 calories!), E, there is no GPS option so if you put it down in an odd place it is SO hard to find. The Fitbit isn't that bad of a product, and I enjoy owning it. I wouldn't recommend buying a Fitbit any more advanced than this one, though, because it will probably be a waste of your money.

It's not super accurate because when I am deriving a delivery truck it says I am walking and taking steps. I didn't want to get the larger more accurate one bc my wrist is small and I didn't want a huge tan line. I wish I would have gotten the next step up. I wish I didn't have to worry so much about it getting wet also.

I love my Fitbit Alta. I had a Garmin vivosmart but once I could read the time or date anymore because the pixels started to die. It was time to buy a new one. I originally bought the Garmin Vivo fit 3 but after a day, I decided to exchange it for the Alta. Great fit, decent battery life, and nice app. I also all the move reminder.

I work in the medical field and not allowed to have my phone at work, the text messages that come across the screen are discreet and perfect for me to know whether or not there's an emergency at home to attend to. Also use this for health reasons/tracking my exercise and its small enough that I can still freely move my wrist

I've had the fitbit flex, fitbit charge and the fitbit charge hr. I liked them but the flex didnt have a clock and the charge and charge hr were too bulky for my small wrists!! When the Alta came out I went and looked at it and for me it has everything I need; basically a slimmer version of the charge! So I got it and am loving it
