Customers are saying

Customers recognize the Alta Activity Tracker (Small) for its ease of use, small size, and effective step tracking capabilities. Many appreciate the sleek design, long battery life, and sleep tracking features, while also noting the accuracy of its data. However, some users found the band and clasp difficult to use, and the lack of a heart rate monitor was also a common point of feedback. Additionally, the display's readability in sunlight was mentioned as an area for improvement.

Love my fitbit alta. It is exactly what i thought it would be. It keeps track of the steps throughtout my day very accurately. It is also on point with the exercise steps knowing when i am on the elliptical vs the aerobic tape. Downloaded the fitbit ap on my phone and it is great. I would recommend both.

I usually struggle with wearing watches as they tend to iritate my skin but with the Fitbit I am able to wear it slightly loose that I haven't had that problem. Good battery life so far. Also love the fact that it links with your phone so you can read messages as they come in. All in all I'm pleased so far

Any one that wants to keep track of steps while pushing a grocery cart or a stroller should be aware that this device will not do that. However, they'll advertise that it does. Also, watch any video on the device and watch people try to change each category by clicking on the screen. You'll see that it's unresponsive. These are two big issues that you should be aware. However, if you don't care about the cart/stroller issue and you don't mind using the app to check the other metrics it's keeping track of then I'd recommend this product. Honestly, it's very attractive piece. Much better looking than the other Fitbit products. If it was for me then it would have been just fine, but I got this for my wife and we have small children. She didn't like the idea of it not keeping track of a large portion of her walking, so it had to be returned.

This was a gift for my wife for Christmas. It is her third fit bit model, and her favorite to date. We are still waiting for the one fit bit that has all the features we want - this one is missing the heart rate meter and stairs function, but comes in the sleek form factor and bands are changeable.

Love this product! Bluetooth capabilities with my smart phone. Keeps me motivated to walk more. It vibrates when I get a text or when I get a call. I can also see who's texting me with just a tap. The only thing this doesn't have compared to other wristbands is that it doesn't detect your heart rate.

I love it. It helps to keep me on track. I love how it lets me know how I slept and the best part is it syncs with my phone and even tells me I have a call or text because it is always in my purse and I never hear it. Do not like that you can't have more choice of colors though don't care for the blue.

My wife had a slightly different version (alta HR). Although they do pretty much the same, the sleep tracker is much more detailed in the alta HR model. Not sure why. Other than that, I like the tracker, its performance, and the ability to trade out different color bands.

It's simple, durable, and helps track my steps accurately. I like the simplicity of it compared to other devices and how I can easily connect the Bluetooth to update steps on my phone and computer. I like how when I get to the 10,000 step mark little fireworks shoot off!

This was a gift for my wife who absolutely loves it! She feels it is much more stylish than what she was using and provides just the right information she wants. She loves that it's connected to her iPhone so she can view text messages without taking out her phone while walking.

The Alta's sleek size gives great info at a glance. With one tap I have the time, another tap I have my steps, distance, calories burned, exercise time... I used to own the flex and really like that the size hasn't changed much but there is much more information that I can see on my wrist.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. It's the big thing at school now to have a fitness tracker, which I can't complain about. She's a gymnast so she really gets a kick out of how many steps she takes on practice days. It works great and charge lasts a few days, plus it's kid sturdy.

I have found the fitbit to be a useful approach to improving fitness. The idea of adding steps here and there throughout the day in order to build fitness has worked for me. Also the feedback (hourly step count) has proven to be motivational. It is great way to help resist sedentary habits.

This is my third Fitbit tracker I have had. (Zip, Charge HR were the first two) I really like how sleek it looks and the notification function with reminders, texts and phone calls is great. I am excited about being able to switch to a different color for the bracelet or put it in a necklace.

This is my second Alta fit bit. My first one stopped fully tracking, it onlly gave steps and was not showing the weekl chart. the rubber band broke after about 9 months. It was useful in tracking steps and setting goals
