Bought this fitbit to monitor my walking. I love the reminder that monitors your lack of movement and encourages you to get up and walk. It is especially helpful as I spend a lot of time working at a computer. It has helped me to stay motivated.

The Alta is sleek and small, which is why I chose it. I was worried that I was going to miss out on the HR monitor - which other fitbits have - but I don't even notice that this one doesn't have it. Overall, the Alta is wonderful and I am incredibly happy with my choice!

Great motivator with the reminders to move throughout the day. Love that it tells you when to head to bed and it tracks your sleep. The display screen is very handy, I like being able to read texts too. It seems to take longer than 5 hours to fully charge the device however.

The Alta is a great fit for people who are trying to get fit! It is light weight , very durable, and after the first week I forgot it was there . I do wish it had heart rate but the features are amazing none the less . Great price for it also compared to other smart watches .

Bought for my wife thanks to the recommendation of the very knowledgable Best Buy representative. We were disappointed to find that it did not have a heart rate monitor as we were told by the rep that it did. Trust but verify. Other than that one omission, my wife loves it.

I bought this to replace a Fitbit Charge that got lost. I Love the slim profile and stylish look! It's a little hard to put on when the jband is brand new and stuff but gets easier with use. The only feature I miss that my Charge had but Alta doesn't log is log stairs climbed.

This device has kept me on track on being active everyday! It not only tracks my calorie count, steps and food intake This little device also shows me my text messages and phone calls. I should have bought this item a long time ago. A must buy!!! You will not be disappointed.

I love this new Fitbit. I had my last one for three years and wanted the updated features the Alta provides. Would totally reccomend. I do have abit of reaction to the band, but there are so many great looking bracelets that adapt to Fitbit and they are easy to change out!

My Fitbit Alta encourages me to get up and move every hour. The only thing I have a problem with is putting it on. It is very difficult to get the band to fasten. Once it is on, it is fine. I especially like being able to read my text messages on it.

I wear my Fitbit everywhere! It even tells me when I need to get up and walk around. The best part is, that I wear it when I swim, which I do a lot of. That's the very best part. I like to know how much I've walked, and how I've slept. Fitbit is a winner in my book.

I got the Fitbit because I had started working out and I figured since I would have it in my arm at all times I would be able to keep up with my work outs and it would encourage me to workout more. But, after buying it and using it I would rather save my money. I do like that it will show you notifications but you have to have Bluetooth on for it to work and it drains my phone battery. Also I don't like having to wear it on my wrist all the time. It has positives but overall the health app that's free on my phone would do me just as good as the Fitbit. so really think it through before buying one

Received the first one this past Mother's Day and after a few months things started to fall apart, literally. First the charger broke, then the wristband started to come loose on its own. Finally decided to cash in the protection plan and get a new one. So far so good.

this was a gift and were looking to track steps only and not bulky. This product has done that, gives a reminder each hour which is a good motivator. stiff wrist connecting the band at the beginning but is now broke in. Great product, for what was needed, slim and steps.

I bought the Alta because of its looks. It does deliver on the step count. Best Buy's warranty allowed me to replace the Alta because the strap broke. Small cons: If you put it on too tight, the strap may break. Also, you have to tap with some force to see the stats.

I love my new Altra. I do not need batteries but only charge every 4-5 days. It helps me keep track of my weight and calories in and calories out. I have a step goal and it helps me reach it every day. the salesperson also helped me tremendously deciding on my new Altra.

I love my Fitbit Alta. It does everything I need it to and keeps me accountable & motivated. I love the look and slim design. I've never had any issues with it, and the one time I called customer service (regarding an issue on my part), they were extremely helpful.

I was a basic Fitbit user for a couple years and then was given a Garmin watch and started wearing it. I love both products for their purposes. For everyday use I live this Fitbit. It is much smaller but still gives me email and text alerts and all the tracking.
