Just what I was looking for to keep me motivated. My Alta is not bulky and does a great job at keeping me on the move. I track my caloric intake with the App and I'm actually losing weight because I'm walking like a maniac and taking the challenge with friends.

I bought this for my wife so she can track her steps and heart rate. She has smaller wrists and didn't want the big bulky fitness trackers. It's also nice that she can receive my text messages to her since she doesn't really have her phone on her at work.

I have an Alta and purchased this one for my granddaughter. She is over the moon! This is a great tool to motivate us to move. Many are constantly busy but don't have a great deal of physical activity. The Alta provides a gentle reminder to get moving.

I was gifted a Fitbit Charge a few years ago. I loved it but after time didn't work anymore. Recently I started looking at fitness watches. The pricing on them was pretty scary!! So I've been keeping an eye out on something affordable. One day I noticed with my Best Buy rewards I had saved up I could buy one. Went to Best Buy looked at there offerings and settled on the Fit bit Alta. It doesn't have as much as the Charge but does the job. One thing I really do not like about the Alta is the band. I can not put it on by myself. It has knobs that you need to push into the holes and for me it's impossible! so for now I'm dealing. Would I buy this again?? Probably NOT

This was a birthday gift for my grandson. He had no problems maneuvering through the programs after having his father help with the set-up phase. For an active 8 year old he wanted to keep pace with his father and together work on keeping fit. Perfect gift!

Me and my lady bought this gift for her mothers birthday gift. So far we just been receiving positive and exciting remarks about her new fitbit upgrade she loves that it tells time and is sensitive on her steps. My ladys mother have just enjoyed ever since.

The Alta is comfortable and stylish! I love that I am able to receive me text messages on my watch. It also displays your caller ID that allows me to see who is calling as long as my phone is not too far way from the watch. It is one of my better investments.

makes me walk more! I have gone for walks at night to hit my daily goal

My 77 year old mother loves it. The clasp is difficult for her to fasten, and she needs my father's help to get it on, but otherwise it is motivating her to get more exercise which is good. She likes that it notifies her of text messages and phone calls too.

Works fine. Just needed to replace lost Fitbit and Best Buy was cheapest

Love the reminders it gives me to get up and moving. Tracking me sleep is an added bonus. Still trying to figure out the calorie tracking, but that piece isn't as important to me. Gives you a sense of accomplishment when you finish one of the challenges.

Love this product! It was a great purchase and very user friendly. If the text alert feature is important to you (wasn't to me) check to ensure your phone is on the list of eligible devices. My phone isn't old but wasn't on the list.

My wife loves her Fitbit Alta! It took sometime to figure out the darn unit since everything has to be done online, (no manual)! Once we were able to connect to her smart phone it was smooth sailing! Great tracker, follows sleep better than most other units!

I love the Alta! Its slim and stylish. The only thing I do not like is that it does not have the ability to count stairs. I did not realize this when I purchased it. I was disappointed since I was buying it to replace my Fitbit Charge that broke.

I recently decided to try and get back in shape. My wife and I knew that walking at least 10,000 steps a day was necessary. However, having the ability to input calories and other vital info, I get a snapshot of exactly how well we're doing! Great product!

I love my Fitbit Alta. It is the perfect combination of a Fitbit that counts steps and a watch! I definitely prefer wearing one wristband rather than two, which is what I had to do with my other Fitbit. I wish I had bought the Alta sooner than I did.

I bought this for my wife because her Vivofit 2 had never really been as reliable as I would like. The fit is better and the notifications are nice. Knocking it down a star because its Bluetooth connection isn't always as faithful as it should be.

I got the fitbit originally for the clockface and step counter but once I got the app all started up I started tracking my sleep and it started helping me to look at my health in a new way, compairing my sleep with my activity levels.
