This was a great device until they’ve come out with a newer version.

The Alta replaces my Fitbit zip. I not only keep track of my steps, but this has replaced my watch. Got 2 fancy bands to switch out for dress. Also synced it with my WW app. Works GREAT, and is economical. Would recommend!

The only problem with it was the band. This was for our 8 year old grandson and not only is it hard for him to snap close it is hard for his mom and grandma also. Even when not on. But he loves it wears it all the time. Very active in sports

It's a motivator to keep striving for new levels of activity, and it's also a great watch. Recommend that they figure out how to make it waterproof. Also, I'd like to be able to change out the rubber watch band with leather or a different material.

Pretty color not bright. Strap is easy to change. Cleans well too!

I really find this fitness tracker to be perfect. It's feminine looking and comfortable. The first few days it took some getting used to, but now it snaps in easily. The best feature so far is the hourly vibration to remind me to walk 250 steps.

I bought this for my very dainty and hard to shop for wife. Let's start off by saying she's never been a watch person because of the size of her wrists. She likes this though, uses it at work and at the gym, and tells me it works perfectly.

I bought the Fitbit - Alta Activity Tracker (Small) - Black for my daughter as a holiday present. She loves tracking her steps each day, and having messages pop up on her wrist. The battery lasts a long time and it's very quick to recharge.

The fitbit woks nicely to keep me on track with steps and water intake. However, it showed a series of fireworks and other "party" type characters the first time I hit 10000 steps, and now will not do it. Not sure what the change or problem is.

Love Fitbit and this Alta is no exception. Upgraded from the flex for this for the screen display. Love that it shows the time. Only complaint is that I wish it had the heart rate monitor and that it counted flights. Other than that no complaints

I have previously owned a Charge hr. The device lasted eight months before dying. I decided to try a less expensive version. I can't stand the band, it is difficult to secure. I purchased a band from baylite and love it. The Fitbit works well.

Purchased as a surprise Mother's Day gift as she had been recently looking, but wasn't quite ready to make the Fitbit commitment yet. Gave it to her and now she's obsessed with it. Keeps her very active and accountable. Perfect purchase for her!

only downside to this is the band , very hard to snap on. i replaced mine eith old fashion type band and it works great, love how it keeps me trying to get to my step total each day,and how app tracks steps day by day and totals for week

It tells me when someone call or text me. I can keep track of how much I have walked everyday. How many hours I slept every day. I can track of meals and weight. It reminds to walk more and I enjoy looking forward to make more goals to exercise.

Bought this after the band on previous fit bit charge was coming apart. (very common issue with them). Much happier with the design of the Alta. Removable band is much better and more resilient to frequent removal. So far very pleased with this.

I have had other fitness trackers in the past and with the Alta, I change the bands to match outfits and look dressy and still track my steps. I love being able to view texts and see phone numbers of incoming calls without looking at my phone.

Needed a small profile and easy to read digital display for someone who has tiny wrists and no smart phone. This unit was much heavier than I expected after years of using an Up2. The band was also difficult to close. Recipient enjoys it.

Purchased this Fitbit for my daughter. She was delighted at the style and functionality. She thought she had lost it and was devastated. I was ready to purchase another just like it. Thankfully, it was found.

I have a hard time getting up in the morning, I'm just not a morning person, my Fitbit helps me wake up on time every morning. It also remind me to get up from my desk to take breaks through out the day. Overall, this is a great purchase!!
