It is a nice wristband for keeping track of your health

Bought this as a gift for Mother's Day for my mother ....her favorite color is purple and she had been asking for one...the fit on her arm is great and she loves to be able to keep track of her milestones and share them with me.

I am very pleased I purchased the Fitbit Alta. I have been enjoying the features of this Fitbit. The ability to have steps, calories, and distance counted has been very valuable to me in my efforts to exercise daily. The reminder you can receive from your Alta to get up and walk is a plus for me. I have taken more steps because of that feature. I also like the battery indicator - this makes it easier for me to plan when to recharge the Alta and to know when would be a good time to do it. There is one con for me with this Alta - the Alta responds slowly when I am getting my info - like miles walked, steps taken, etc. from my activity tracker. But, I am really very happy with the Alta and I am glad I made this purchase. Plus, I love the plum color of my Alta band.

THis is an excellent fitness band for kids and adults.

Works great. Did have difficulty getting it on and off.

Syncing to phone was easy. The Alta offers activity tracking, smart notifications, sleep monitoring and reminders to move. The water-resistant device also features an OLED tap display and wireless syncing to compatible devices.

I have bought in the past Fitbit flex, charge and charge HR. I just bought the Alta and it is amazing, the other ones I loved also but felt a little bulky on my wrist. I love how it reminds you to get up and move. Great product

I love my new fitbit alta, I upgraded from the flex, and it is so nice to have the time and also my step count able to be read from my fitbit instead of having to log into the app. I also love that it syncs with my calls and text messages making it easy to know if I need to react to something quickly or not. The only thing I don't like about my new fitbit is that the screen scratches incredibly easy. I learned the hard way and had to buy a screen protector after I already put some bad scratches into my fitbit. An easy fix to this would be to buy a screen protector from the beginning, and I would highly recommend that.

I have really enjoyed the Fitbit Alta. It fits my needs of functionality and practicality. I like that it is stylish and slim. I'm not a watch wearer by any means and I really like this tracker with the dual process of a watch.

Bought as a gift for my teenage kids for her running.

ever since my son got this for Christmas it has kept him more active. He walks around the house just to increase the number of his steps. He downloaded the app and he can compete with his friends to see who does the most.

Love it except it was hard to put on until the band loosened up. Now not a problem. Would buy again. Great to have a replaceable band which was a problem on older models where the band would bubble up and peel off the sides.

Counts steps and many sports activities. Alarm feature is nice. Sleek Design. Easily removable bands. Charger fits nicely on it with a clip. Cons: No stair count and no GPS. Overall: Quality item for the price.

My wife uses the step count feature all the time. She has a few complaints ... 1) wrist band hard to get connected (since fixed with newer band styles) 2) Does not count stairs as her older one did.

I love the size of the Alta. Unfortunately, I had problems opening and closing the prongs. Very tight and hard to close. I took it back to Best Buy and exchanged it for the Charge 2. It's a good product, just not for me.

Helps me keep track of my water intake, food intake and activity for the day. Keeps me motivated to be more active and healthy. Links right to my phone. Very easy to use.

This Alta Fitbit is very user friendly and offers tons of ways to track activity, calories burned, sleeping, even water and food intake. It's been just the motivation I need to make sure I'm moving enough throughout the day.

My wife and I have been exercising quite a bit starting in gen. 2016 so i got her the Alta. She absolutely loves the Alta she track caloric intake and activity. She says it's accurate and is helping her loose weight.
