I purchased the Alta fitbit for my granddaughter's 14th birthday. I already had a Charge HR, which I love. My granddaughter loves her Alta. She uses the alarm feature, plus the activity feature.

the fitbit alta is an overpriced waste of money. it does what it claims to do, but it is sometimes quite hard to get the screen to come on when tapping on it as the directions say to. the band is next to impossible to get on by yourself, and even with help is more challenging than it should be. at least it is easy to remove the band and replace with an aftermarket brand that is much easier to fasten. over all i guess it works as advertised, but the negatives outweigh the positives of the fitbit alta for the purchase price.

I like my new Fitbit. the style of it is better than my previous one. I also like that this one has a time feature. My only issue with Fitbits in general is that I have trouble putting them on.

I really like this item. A bit disappointed that it doesn't do heart rate. Additionally the wrist strap is a pain to snap together, despite the obvious workaround they tried to build into it.

Doesn't show time easily. Have to tap several times. Also had to change band. The one it comes with is impossible to use. Does track calories used. Helps me know what to eat.

The fitbit alta works well and is very easy to set up. It is pretty accurate as well. However, the calories readings might be confusing as it tracks the total calories, including while sleeping.

Bought this Fitbit for my daughter and it has been great. She uses it as a watch and also to check her fitness progress each day. Works great and she loves the sleek design for her small wrists.

This device works well to keep me informed. Keep me on track to a healthy life. The reason i gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the band is very hard to use. It actually ripped.

Bought for my 12 year old daughter and it fits her great, love the color and we are in challenges with friends and family across the globe! From Missouri to California to Florida to Belize!

All features are great. Battery life is awesome.my wife loves it. Syncs well with most smart phones, so you get call and message alerts. Would be nice if you could respond to the messages.

I purchased this item for my daughters 12th birthday. She loves it and I'm thrilled with the fact she's tracking her excercise. The various bands you can buy are also a nice perk in her opinion.

My wife loves the Fitbit Alta. She had the regular fitbit but it didn't show her steps. This is much better. She participates in challenges with her friends and this really gets her out walking.

I really like the features and the look of this Fitbit. I've tried some of the other styles and felt they where to bulky and uncomfortable. I like the ability to change the bands and dress it up.

Wanted something that would help me keep track of my habits (eating exercise etc) and this does exactly that. Super easy to figure out and charge lasts a few days.

I do love this fitbit. I love that it shows me my text messages without having to dig out my phone. I love that it reminds me to keep moving and to get ready for bed. Looks good on wrist too!!

Not a very accurate step count, mistakes small movements for footsteps. Other than that, amazing battery, attractive for just a simple watch, and if you're looking for an add to your exercise.

I bought this as a gift for a teenager. She loves it and has started walking more and being more active. It is a game to her to see if she can get to 10,000 steps a day. She loves her Alta

I love my FitBit Alta!!! Its small and easy to use and sync with my computer and my cell phone. It can record my cardio workouts and it keeps me on track. It was a great investment for me!

The device is great. It's attractive looking and has a quality feel. My only complaint is the clasps on most Fitbits are difficult to use. I'm not sure why they make it so difficult to connect.

I had a Fitbit Flex and had problems charging it and getting the band to snap together. The Alta is much easier to charge and put on. It's slim size looks good even on my skinny wrist.
