Bought for my daughter. Functions for all the purposes she wanted, watch, alarm clock and to track her steps. Works great no problems syncing with my phone etc.

I appreciate the Fitbit Alta for always encouraging you to get up and move around. I like how you are able to change the bands with all different designs and colors.

Got it for a Mother's Day gift and she always wears it. It looks nice and is sleek. Only downside is it can be a little complicated for people not as technology savvy

I like the fact this tells you when you have a text message or phone call. I moved up from a Fitbit One. Which I liked too but I wanted something to where on my wrist.

I enjoy wearing the fit bit. It tracks steps well and encourages walking when idle. The additional features and the app are user friendly and helpful as well.

These fitbits work great except for when I try to trick it by running in place really fast to get all my steps in for the day since I procrasinated till 11:57pm.

I like the functionality: tracks activities, it's a watch, alerts you of incoming texts & messages, alerts you when you are sedentary for a number of minutes.

My daughter got this for her birthday. It was a great value that does what she needs. A great starter Fitbit; keeps steps, text message alerts, etc.

I bought this for my mom an she says she really loves it. She said it helps keep her motivated to keep walking, she is 83 and figured out the features.

After years of resistance, I broke down and bought a fitbit alta because it does so much, it is small and pretty, and it is a real watch too. All this is great and works perfectly. HOWEVER, it is a real chore wrestling this wristband on every day. It isn't waterproof, so you can't just put it on and leave it. I have tried all the fix-it recommendations and the only thing that works is to disengage the strap from the fitbit and reattach it rather than try to squeeze the pins into the holes. I'm not sure about the accuracy of the step counter, but it's still a real motivator. Glad I bought it.

I've had this for about 2 months. I love it. No issues like jawbone and more accurate than my Apple Watch. Got one for my mom and will get one for my sister.

Tracker very accurate and motivational! I love checking how much sleep I got the previous night since I just had a baby.

This is actually my wife's device and see loves the slim design but would like to have some of the other features the other models have but see does like it .

I love this Fitbit!! It's lightweight and tracks all of the information that I'm interested in. It has actually exceeded my expectations and I recommend quite often.

Band is very hard to close so I bought a magnetic one that works pretty good. If it doesn't light up when you raise your arm it seems hard to get it to light up.

I just love my fitbit alta. Not only that it helps me get moving, it also alerts me when someone is calling or texting. I also love the sleek design...very classy

This was a birthday gift, and I love it. It really makes me want to move and in the month that I have owned it I have lost about 5 lbs with just the extra movement.

Good little tracker for steps etc. The watch part is provoking because you can't rely on it to turn on when you want it especially in the dark.
