    Worth the Money

I love this Fitbit Alta HR. I also wear an Apple iWatch and feel that for activity monitoring the Alta HR is way better. The Apple iWatch was not designed as a fitness tracker, the Alta HR was. The constant minitoring of heart rate tracks calories more accurately. The auto tracking of sleep patterns is way more accurate as well. 4-5 days battery power from an active person. The only thing I am not totally happy with is the profile height of the monitor. I am worried that I will bang it up against something way more than a slimmer model. I would definitely recommend getting a screen cover/protector.

I had 1st fit bit. Switched to Samsung watch and Apple. Loved Apple watch but love Samsung phones more. Well Samsung gear doesn't keep track of heart rate and sleeping time even close to how great fit bit does. That is why I bought my fitbit, to keep track and b able to connect with Samsung note 8. Need more band options though!

This replaced my Fitbit Flex - which was a good, reliable tracker for over 2 years. So far the Alta has exceeded my expectations. Does a good job tracking steps, has a lot more detail in the sleep tracker, and I really like the 'reminders to move' when I've been sitting too long at work. Integration with texts and phone call alerts is more useful than I expected it to be. I splurged on the rose gold tracker, and I really like the look. Battery lasts a full week. My only complaint is that it can be difficult to read the display in full sunlight, but it's not that hard to shade it with my other hand.

This version is just the right width for someone looking for a smaller accessory that doesn't interfere too much with other pieces of jewelry. With a quick glance, you can monitor your daily progress. Syncs well with mobile device. Different bands can be purchased and color changes made easily.

This was an upgrade to my Fitbit Alta. After over 2 1/2 years the battery was not holding the charge. Decided to get the Fitbit Alta HR and have been very happy with it. The sleep cycle is more detailed and HR is a great addition.

Bought the hr charge for my wide a year before. Wanted the HR feature. Her wrist is small and didn't like the look on her even thiugh it worked fine. Got the Alta HR since slimmer. Like it better. Also gets texts. Had a problem syncing but is ok now.

I bought the Fitbit Flex 2 last year to see if I would wear it enough to make it be worth the purchase. I wore it almost every day so I upgraded to the Alta HR. I like it a lot. I wish it were waterproof though. It is a nice size for small wrists.

I have a small wrist and the small fits perfect. The HR appears fairly accurate when I compare to cardio HR at gym. I have sensitive skin but no problems with the band. It has really motivated me to be more active. Now my friends want to get one. My sister has Fitbit HR 2 and she loves hers too. Wish it was more sensitive in registering the exercise. Have to manually enter some stuff but still happy with my purchase which I bought on sale.

I thought I was buying a step tracker but the Alta HR is so much more. I love the hr monitor, allows me to assess resting hr and hr during exercise. I am surprised by how much I use the app. For weight loss the app is much more accurate at tracking recommended calories based on exercise than MFP alone. I find the app features motivating (exercise goals per day, steps per hour, etc.). Size is great for a small wrist. Great bands on Amazon.

I had a Jawbone up and had no problems but they no longer sell Fitness tracker so switched to Fitbit. It is easy to use, charge lasts at least 6 days and appears to be accurate.
