I went from the Fitbit Flex 2 to this and I love it! You can see who is calling you, the time and your heart rate! The only disappoint is it's not fully water resistant. I wear it all the time and have to remember to dry it after doing dishes or remove it before showering or going in the pool.

Replaced the basic band because it caused a lot of sweating. Sometimes difficult to get the time to display.

I initially purchased the Alta HR to monitor my heart rate as I was having irregularities, but I have come to find that this Fitbit is great at motivating me to keep moving and exercise more. Also, with my tiny wrists, the small is a good fit.

had this a few years and still works great. slim and light weight. really nice little tracker. great buy. can’t imagine being without it. basic but gets you all the info you REALLY need.

I am obsessed with Fitbit! I love the sleekness of the Alta and now that it has HR it is even better. Of course I miss my floors climbed with the Charge, but I won't be switching. I also love that you can change the bands. Smart move, Fitbit!

Bought Alta HR as a gift. Already have Fitbit Charge 2 and love it.

I have had my fitbit for a month now and there are things I love and don't love about it. The main reason why I bought this fitbit was to track my sleep quality. So far, it has only failed once to provide me insight into how much REM, Light, and Deep sleep I am getting each night. Even when it failed to provide the highly detailed info, it still provided basic info such as awake, asleep, and restless. I am fairly pleased with the sleep tracking function. The band is sleek and doesn't irritate my skin, which is a plus. The battery life leaves something to be desired; I expected it to last a week, defined as 7 days, but it lasts around 4-5 days. Charging is quick though, 1-2 hours. The step tracker often records false steps, so I ignore the step alerts. The thing that annoys me the most though is not being able to get the display to appear. A flip of the wrist doesn't work most of the time and I have to double slap the screen because a firm double tap doesn't work. The device is not very responsive in this respect. Since I stopped wearing my watch with the fitbit, it is the only way for me to tell time and it's not very good at providing a quick read. Overall I give it three stars because it does well what I bought it for, but I had to deduct stars for the short battery life and inability to show the display quickly.

I got the Fitbit Alta as a gift a couple of years ago, and when the battery died, I went and upgraded to the Alta HR. I love how it shows my heart rate and helps me get better sleep, plus keeps me up to date with my daily routine. I don't leave home without it.

It’s a great fitness tracker for counting steps and monitoring your sleep patterns. The app that goes with it is great to keep up with friends and challenge each other. Only downside is that it’s not water resistant.

Easily connect to phone, wear it in the shower, charge once a week!

I bought this fit-bit for my sister after using the Charge HR myself for about a year and she loves it.
