Slim profile and very accurate tracking of sleep and steps

I purchased this for my wife. she was concerned about the amount of sleep she has been getting. with the FitBit she was able to identify her real sleep activity. this has given her information that is measured and now she is able to act on it with peace of mind now that she has real information she can trust.

I purchased the Fitbit Alta for my wife for her birthday. She feels it has encouraged her to meet step goals she has set and she has lost about 6 pounds in about 6 weeks. She really likes her Fitbit. I also bought her some different color bands and she switches them out regualarly depending on what color she is wearing that day. Great unit.

If you’re someone like me, who likes things small and fashionable… This is so for you! Not only does a monitor your sleep, but it also tells you your incoming text messages and calls. The only disadvantage is that you can’t take it in water, but I don’t swim religiously like that. For the price this is the best!

Works great, decent battery life, love the sleep tracker.

I like that I can track my activity all day as it motivates me to move. Two additional non-workout features I like are 1) seeing text messages and phone calls and 2) my sleep monitoring. The only con is the thickness. The narrowness is great but I dislike how thick (raised up) it is as it catches on long sleeves. However, it seems that all fitness devices today still are thick in height, width and/or length.

I am very pleased with my Bestbuy.com experience. The website was easy to navigate and I found exactly what I was looking for. I ordered the fitbit alta hr and I love the heart rate monitor and the reminders to get moving if i have been inactive for a while. My fitbit motivates me to take more steps and reach my goal each day.

I bought the Alta HR (small band) as a gift for my wife to replace her Flex. She likes all the added features of the Alta & the HR monitor is a bonus. Once she synced it with her app she was able to pic up where she left off with the challenges she was in...which is apparently a pretty big deal! ;-) Great purchase & would buy again!

Makes a good gift. Monitors activities, heart rate, compete with friends etc

This fitbit credits my exercising as well as when I use my glider, plus when I am on the Wii Fit. The original Alta didn't.

This Fitbit is as advertised. The features work easily and effectively. I love the slim design because it offers all the same features of the Charge 2 but is a better fit for smaller wrists and hands. The interchangeable bands are a little pricey but I like that you can change them if something breaks or you want to match your outfit.

Like the style and heart rate monitor. Switched from the Charge HR and really wish the Alta HR kept track of flights of stairs.

Perfect product to jumpstart my health goals. Purposely chose the smaller version because I haven’t worn a watch since the invention of cell phones and wasn’t sure if I could tolerate something on my wrist for long periods. I was wrong and now I can also check the time at a quick glance! Very happy with my purchase.

This fitbit is awesome. It holds a charge for up to 5 to 7 days, and it is very reliable. I have checked the step counter and it is very accurate. The only negative is that it does not count the number of staircases you do, like the fitbit charge and more expensive models do. However, I highly recommend this model.

Great little watch I picked up as a gift. Does a real nice job of monitoring sleep for someone that has a sleep disorder.

My family of 3 went through 5 Charge HRs. Either the band broke or the device did. Replacing the band essentially broke the device. Also, it wasn't that dainty on my small wrist. I love my Alta! It's slim, dainty, and the band comes off easily! The battery lasts a really long time (around 4 days without sync always). Only complaint is it doesn't have a timer function. Really happy with my purchase!
