I bought this for my daughter for Xmas and she loves it. It's the perfect size and it does exactly what she wanted counts her steps and tracks her heart rate and her sleep pattern.

I lOVE my FitBit Alta HR! I had the Charge HR before this, and loved it - but accidentally drowned it when swimming in Greece. I decided to try a new model after I came home to the States, and I haven't regretted this choice! I love monitoring my steps, sleep, heart rate, and fitness levels. And it's cute!

I love that it is so light and that you can switch the bands. It is a huge improvement over the first fitbit. It still has the sleep feature which I love, but it no longer has the timer.

Does everything I want. Tracks my steps, displays my texts and phone calls, gives me my heart rate and tracks my sleep. Also rewards me when I reach 10,000 steps in a day. Awsome!!!

I’m in my 50s and TRYING to get into better shape. We actually bought this one and the Charge, but that was too heavy for me. I’m using the various functions, HR, sleep, calories, etc. I’m being honest with the food amounts. I’m approximating the amounts, comparing to measuring cups, or even weighing it sometimes. You’d be surprised that three squares of chocolate is only 5/8 oz! I get my sweets and don’t feel TOO guilty. It’s good to know how much actual sleep I’m getting. Evidently, I’m awake during the night at the low end of the range--usually lower than the low end. It’s really nice to see the calories in v. out. It IS making me think “Do I REALLY want to eat this and have to enter it?” My only issue is the HR function (heart rate). I believe it is correct, but the range for “fat burn” starts in the 90s for me, and my doctor told me my range is 109-133. So that’s kinda thrown off. If you’re interested in this stuff for health purposes, to see what you’re actually doing, or just a bit ocd, it’s a nice little device.

This is my third Alta. My first Alta HR broke and my second was a Alta without the HR (hated the band). Now I have the Alta HR with a proper band. I absolutely love the style, ease of use and functions. I like the reminders and connection with other friends. I would recommend it to anyone for the price.

This was a gift for my wife, and she wears it daily with enjoyment. It has motivated her to be more active, and she likes the sleep tracking information as well. If anything could be changed, I think she'd like the ability to manually start an exercise session on the device. As it currently works it automatically detects when you start an exercise, but this does not always work.

This is the device of the decade. With Americans becoming more and more overweight, this provides a simple way to measure your calorie intake versus your calorie burn on a daily, weekly, monthly basis. We have lost 10 pounds already - with more steps/exercise and less calorie intake than calorie burn.

Overall, the Alta HR does what it's supposed to do simply and effectively. It counts steps accurately, seems to measure heart rate consistently, and is overall a great product! I previously had a FitBit One which I also loved, but it lacked some of the features of the Alta (heart rate tracking, reminders to move, automatic sleep tracking, namely). I have had a few complaints, but nothing that would keep me from re-purchasing. There have been a few times that the software hasn't worked properly (for example steps not resetting on the first day of the month from the day before). My chief complaint is that the silent alarms are unreliable- sometimes I set them and they don't go off, and then other times like this morning, I didn't set them last night but I was woken up by them this morning. All in all a great product that I would buy again!

Great for what I needed. It tracks my sleep and notifies me when I get new texts or calls. It also monitors your pulse and steps and menstrual cycle, which are just bonuses.

Bought for my daughter for Christmas. She loves to see how many steps she takes each day and has encouraged her to work to increase them. It’s a great design and fits her comfortably.

Smaller, more comfortable, seems to be accurate, and holds charge well. Very pleased with purchase thus far. Yet to buy different bands, but like that I can do so if I desire.

Got the Alta HR to replace my Flex. Love having the watch and the heart rate, battery life etc., so much more to offer than the Flex. Now if it was just waterproof it would be PERFECT!!!!

My old fitbit bit the dust. I didn't realize how much I loved it till I no longer had it. Bought the Alta HR and I love it. I love the gentle vibration that lets me know I have received a text or that a call it coming in. If I'm busy I can glance at my fitbit to see who is contacting me. It has so many great features. I'm always thinking about getting more steps in and my Alta keeps me aware of that. I like the encouraging reminders to get up and move. One of my favorite features is that it tracks my sleep. Everyone knows how important sleep is and this helps me see just how well and how long I'm sleeping.

My wife loves this device. It has so many details and features, it tells you how many hours slept, can figure your calorie intake, text message alerts etc. Not only how far you’v walked. You can have teammates and reach goals to unlock extra features. Really awesome device I’m impressed.

The Fitbit Alta HR is great at keeping up with your activity and your heart rate, but the sleep tracking feature is especially helpful. Also not bulky or obtrusive.

I thought that this fit bit would end up in a drawer or closet like all of my wife's many fitness gadgets. Amazingly, she loves this device and uses it constantly. She actually does what it tells her! I am happy for her to have found something that actually works and that she enjoys.

Fitbit Atria came into my life over four months ago and I am over the moon. It has helped me get moving, walking, taking aerobics classes, and planning meals with care. I lost weight and am quite slender, cholesterol is healthy and I’m delighted with my Fitbit and the data recorded.

I like this small fitbit. I especially like that it keeps track of how I sleep. I am wearing it instead of a watch so the only drawback, from my point of view, is that it doesn't always respond promptly when I tap it to see the time. It's pretty comfortable to wear, even at night.

I bought the Alta HR after my UP2 by Jawbone needed a replacement. The UP2 tracker still worked, but the band was torn in half through wear and tear, so I like that the band for the Alta HR can be replaced. The Alta HR is one of the slimmest HR trackers on the market, all the other ones look to clunky. The battery life is also long lasting and the charger is much easier to use than the UP2. Overall, I enjoy it very much. There are a few cons. I like to look at my HR periodically during my workouts, but sometimes it doesn't read it. The exercises you log are limited and the ones it auto recognizes are even more limited.
