This fitbit is comfortable to wear as it is light. Tracks a lot of things including heart rate.

I love all the information it provides me, while I sleep, how I sleep. It gets me moving!!

A little large for small but still a fun way of tracking exercise, sleep heart rate

Loved the product. Easy to use and al ays keeps me active. Heart rate monitor is very accurate.

I use my Alta HR daily. It is very helpful to keep track of my activity and my sleep patterns. I specifically appreciate the option to accessorize with different band styles and colors. One surprise though -- it is difficult to see the time at night. Flicking my wrist rarely backlights the display. A little disappointing, but not critical.

I had tried another type of fitness tracker prior to this and was not at all satisfied. I like the interactive features of the Alta HR & use it daily. I have it synced with the myfitnesspal app and my phone and am able to track so many different aspects of my health and get helpful reports. The reason it's missing a star, is that it sometimes doesn't sync with everything quite right and I need to troubleshoot. Also, the display is somewhat limited, but I did choose that feature with the smaller fitbit.

Right size for a smaller wrist and keeps good track of heart rate. I really like the celebration it gives for achieving goals.

Steps are accurate, love the heart rate monitor and that it syncs with my phone!

The Fitbit Alta is small, but a great simple tracker of steps, sleeping, heart rate, etc

Got this for my wife to replace her original HR model, which had wristband problems. This model had redesigned the wristband to make the bands interchangeable, which she loves (and it is not as wide which she also likes).

I'm still adjusting to the change from a Charge to an Alta. Its been a month. It is definitely easier to get active minutes, and I don't like that it won't let me indicate when I'm beginning a workout, because it doesn't recognize weight work outs and yoga, etc. To get "credit" for a workout, you have to be quite active. I also can't figure out yet how to enter a new type of exercise in addition to the defaults in the system. But it is pretty good, and nice and slender so it doesn't feel as clunky.

I had been using a Fitbit Flex. It was easy to add the Alta HR to the app on my phone and tablet. The size of the Alta is perfect with the screen being easy to read..

Got one of these nifty Fitbits for my wife and she is quite faithful in getting her steps in every day. We'll be watching TV at night and she will get up and start walking around the room to meet her goal. The sleep information is also very insightful, as she often has insomnia and has a lot of difficulty surrounding sleep. She also got a third party shiny pink wristband for her Fitbit, cause... that's just her.

It does exactly what I bought it for. HR and tracking miles, steps and sleep patterns.

I bought two of these for Christmas, and they were a hit. My wife and teenager loved this gift. Of course the teen figured it all out very easy and had to help my wife. But it worked just fine on their apple, and android phones. I know they love it for the sleep tracking, the reminder to get up and move and also for alerting you of messages coming into your phone. Anyway, big hit for a gift.

After reviewing all the different Brands and models providing basically the same info, I settled with the Alta HR.. I only wanted the basics and didn't need GPS. The Alta HR to me is the perfect size with a very comfortable band. The interface is very intuitive and works seamless with my smartphone and app. Its amazing how well this device actually works providing very detailed info from sleep to high activity..
