I bought this as a gift for my mom for Christmas. She absolutely loves it. The preview of phone calls and texts are an added bonus!

For the Christmas season the item was only available with a small band. However since the purchase was for a woman an additional expenditure for a replacement band was required.

The Alta works great for me - tracks miles etc & the alarm setting allows me to set several days at different times as a wake up alarm

Decent but more expensive cuz of the color of it but nothing really different or extra. Guess it depends who is using it and what you are getting out of it.

The Alta is a nice fitness tracker, and looks nice to boot. We ended up returning it and went with the Charge 2, as my wife discovered she could not manually start/stop a workout with the Alta.

Connected easier than other smart devices used before and stayed connected. Alarm is nicer. Used primarily for heart monitoring.

This device is great, a lot of tracking in a very small form factor. Sync is much more consistent than with prior Fitbit devices and provides a great overall experience.
