Not very accurate
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Assuming the scale at the doctors office is more accurate, this scale is off by approximately 3-4 pounds (lighter).

Very complicated set up - I returned the item.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was on the phone with tech support after hours of going through set up processes and never got the scale to work properly. The device would not sync with my wifi - I've never had that problem before. Even tech support could not help me get up and going so I had to return the item.

Overpriced normal scale use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was amazing my first month I had it. It tracked progress for me and wife with weight and goals, then stopped connecting. I have tried to reset the connection with internet(main issue) even with my phone to see if it would work but to not connect either. I basically have a scale that still recognizes us when we use it but does nothing else. Disappointing for money spent

difficult to set up
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is great scale for the weight fanatic. If all you really want to know is if you have lost or gained weight it is too much scale.

Didn't work on wireless network
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a wireless network engineer and have been working with wireless networks and devices since WiFi came out. I have setup 100's of wireless networks, and have an all Cisco enterprise class controller based wireless network with 3702 series access points. This scale would not find the wifi network no matter what I tried. Other reviews stated the same issue too. Took it back.

Great Scale
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've read through many other people's reviews, and I have to admit, the setup was a challenge. I first tried to set this up using a Windows 7 x64 PC; however, I didn't realize that the application that FitBit provides switches from your home wifi network to the Aria scale wifi and then back again. For Windows 7, this provides a challenge because you have to select the type of network before a network connection can be established. Let's just say I gave up on getting the PC application working. I ended up using my iPad2 to setup the connection. This was very easy by going to their URL, entering my existing Fitibit.com credentials, and confirming my profile. (This is an important step because if you have more than one person using the scale, the profile is what the scale uses to figure out who is on it and which profile it should sync to.) After setting up my profile, the webpage indicated I had to change my Wifi from my home to the Aira (ad-hoc connection). I did that in my settings, went back to the browser and clicked continue. I then was connected to the scales setup where I had to put my Wifi key in (my wifi uses WPA2-Personal with AES encryption so not sure why others were saying they have problems with this configuration) and hit next. The browser then pushes the settings and profiles to the scale and I was directed to switch back to my home wifi to complete the setup. As I said, this was the hardest part in the whole process. So I'd recommend anyone who is having problems with the Windows application, try it from a smartphone or a tablet as this worked great for me. Beyond that, setting it up so both my wife and I had separate profiles, we both took turns stepping on the scale and trying it out. By and large it was accurate (not sure on the BMI), and it sync'ed to fitibit.com so we can individually see changes. My only concern is that you have to wait a minute or so between people as the system will record the information, sync the profile, and then put itself into standby. Not a show stopper, you just have to realize that you have to wait for it to go back into standby before someone else steps on the scale.

Fitbit Aria scale
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was excited to purchase this so I could sync it up with my new Fitbit Flex2. I figure nothing keeps you more on track with your fitness goals than tracking your weight. How disappointed I was to have to return it, when after investing many hours, neither my spouse or I could get it communicating with our wireless. We ended up returning it out of frustration.

Not worth the cost
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Will be returning after 4 weeks of use. Readings vary 3 to 4 pounds per day. Like the concept - just needs more work.

Waste
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I bought this thinking this would go with my fitbit charge 2 and the app only have the scale be a disappointment. It wait me like 4 lbs heavier than to other scale in the house. Fitbit isn't linking with my fitness or other apps so there no benefit to have all the same brand. I'm in route to return it and try something different..

Excellent for someone tracking weight
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After reading all the reviews I decided I would write this review. I bought the black scale because it was $9.00 cheaper than the white. What difference does the color make? I opened the box and set up my scale in less than 5 min. I used my iPhone and followed the directions in the box. I read horror stories about set-up. I am 72 yrs old and I had no trouble at all. I weighed .2 more than on my old scale. I am a fitbit Charge owner. Here's to happy losing for me.

Product Dependent on FitBit APP
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The ARIA works really well and was easy to set up. The weight seems accurate. The only complaint i have is the product is dependent on the FITBIT APP. I have a Apple watch and wish the scale would automatically send the details to the Apple Health APP. My guess is Fitbit doesn't want to cooperate with Apple. Bad mistake the only reason I bought the ARIA instead of another BlueTooth scale is I have owned and have family members who own other FitBit products and know the quality. If the Apple Watch was the first smart watch i owned i wouldn't buy an product that was dependent on the Fitbit APP.
