Not accurate
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's okay nothing to write home about. The weight is accurate, but the body fat count is not. It's good if you're a fitbit fan, like I am.

If you've got a Fitbit, you need this scale!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After owning and using my Fitbit religiously for about two weeks, I decided to spring for the Fitbit Aria scale to add to my program. The scale uses wifi to sync with the Fitbit app on my iPhone and my iMac. I set the scale up through my iMac and it was a snap. I was up and running in just a matter of minutes. The scale is set up to recognize myself and my wife and it has no problems delineating between us. To get the most accurate readings, the scale must be on a hard, flat surface and the user needs to be barefoot (for the body fat measurement). All I need to do is simply step on the scale for a few seconds for it to instantly recognize me and sync my weight and body fat info with my iMac and iPhone. The scale is a sleek and modern. It's very easy to read and I actually have no problems leaving it out in plain sight. I actually find that by looking at it, I'm reminded that I need to use it regularly. I weigh in once a week and all my data is instantly available on the Fitbit dashboard. I like being able to track my progress and the sync capabilities of this scale and it's integration within the Fitbit program and MyFitnessPal app make it worth the price. If I were just looking for a scale that measures body fat, I don't know that I'd spend the price to get this particular model although I do feel it is a well-built and accurate scale. I usually weigh in once a week at the same time and I've found the scale produces similar results at those weigh ins. I will usually take three measurements when I weigh in and there are never any wild fluctuations between these measurements. Even though the scale is fairly thin, I have found it to be sturdy and solid feeling. It has become an invaluable part of my fitness ecosystem and I have not regretted this purchase for a minute.

like it but
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like it but it says you can add up to five users but it would only let me add myself and didn't offer any resolutions when I contacted support.

It's ok
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The scale links easy enough to your fit bit as well as your Wi-Fi. The only complaint I really have is that I only get a fairly accurate reading in my kitchen. I took my first weigh in in my kitchen, then put the scale in my bathroom (both were hard surfaces) but I weighed about 20lbs less in the bathroom than I did in the kitchen. So, my suggestion is find the right surface & leave the scales there.

Disappointed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.States on the box as well as instructions that it will work with Android and iPhones. The device is really set up to work with Fitbit only. Tried numerous times to connect to Samsung smartphones and was unsuccessful. Reached out to support support walked us through step by step on how to set up. Never able to get the actual stats that it states you can get on the box itself. Return to store.

Use a regular scale
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Failed to sync to my phone and fitbit. Weighed and saved the first time and everytime after that, it kept weighing me as "guest" and wouldn't save progress. Now about a month later it won't weigh at all and I can't reset it. Tried removing batteries, nothing. I wouldn't recommend. If you absolutely need tic keep your weight tracked through the Fitbit app, use a regular scale and update it manually.

Going back..
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was really excited to try out the Aria scale and quickly drove home to set it up. Four hours later, I still couldn't get it to connect to my wireless network. I tried my iPhone, my iPad, my Macbook and my Windows PC. I used the browser installer in Safari and IE to no avail. I next tried their installation tool. No dice. After spending 2 hours on the phone with customer service they sail I needed to call my ISP to have them reconfigure my router to work with the scale - my network was "to fast" for the product. WHAT!? I called my ISP and followed the instructions that FitBit gave me and still no dice. I did a search online and it turns out this is a fairly typical problem. My router is about 3 years old so I would not consider it "new" by any stretch of the imagination and I have a number of different devices that I have connected without any issues. FitBit needs to get with the program. I am a pretty techie guy and this was one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had. Very disappointed...

Aria scale
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn't like this scale. Too many specs. I just want a scale that doesn't need to sync to an app.
