Fitbit vs apple watch

The one downfall is that Fitbit loses battery life before the end of the day. We tried updates and turning off unneeded features and it did extend the life a little but still not even close to battery life of Apple Watch. Most reviews say that Fitbit lasts for days. We called Fitbit and they weren't very helpful.
