not able to use all of the features

Some of the features do not work, such as notifications of calls and texts. I cannot get it to sync to my phone so I am unable to track my runs and bike rides. It does not come with an instruction booklet so you have to pore over forums looking for answers on how to find your issue and then the solution. So far I have spent 2 hours doing this to no avail. I plan to go into Best Buy and see if anyone there can help me. If they can't then I will have to return it. I like it a lot but if it won't do everything it is supposed to do then I will try a Garmin.

    Okay Activity Tracker

I got this activity tracker for the looks and it's a well known brand. I wasn't really impressed. I was getting credit for steps while driving and the heart rate monitor was inconsistent. It would show my heart rate being higher while sitting than while walking around my office building. I compared it with the heart hate from my blood pressure device an there was a large discrepancy. In the end I returned it for a different product.

Too complicated to set for a senior. Young people would probably have better luck. Prefer Garmin VivoSmart. Will give to my son or granddaughter. Would not recommend for my senior friends.

I didnt like having to take the face of the watch out of the watch to charge it. I coukdnt get over it and returned it. However, it fit nice, it looked nice and was very light weight.

If you are looking for a Fitness wearable This is great. Does everything and then some. If you want a smart watch, avoid. This is not a smartwatch. Very Very limited as a Smartwatch.

Does what it claims however i wished it could have calling and text capability. this could come handy when you need it to cut the cord with phone when you are doing workouts.

My wife didn’t love this. It’s pretty bulky for not a lot of payoff. Apples watch is a better buy or just a smal fit bit.

I purchased the Blaze in early May 2016. It fell off my kitchen cabinet and the lense shattered This was 5 days ago, Now the steps are not counted correctly. Very sad for a couple of reasons. The vibration I get on my wrist alerts me to a call. I have developed a problem with consciousness . i am taming 40 acres in the Piedmont of Georgia. We live on it but my schedule keeps me very busy. Having a vibration to respond to could very easily save my life. I can not afford to replace this watch multiple times. Thanks, Shelby Childers

I love the functions of this watch. Only two down sides - battery only last 3 - 4 days & it doesn't always connect to my phone via Bluetooth without me having to restart the watch.

    Broke 3 weeks after purchased

The Fitbit blaze broke 3 weeks after it was purchased, the heart rate monitor just stopped working. So disappointing!! Tried to return to best buy, but it was after their 15 days return timeframe, even though it was under warranty. So then I spent 30 mins on chat trying various things with fit bit support. They are sending a replacement, but I have to wait 7-10 days. Haven't gotten it yet, hope this one works longer than 3 weeks.

I bought this and it never worked. It never connected to my phone. It currently is still trying to connect after having it more than a year. This was a waste of money.

Better than Surge...for me at least.

I actually received mine yesterday and already love it. I had previously owned the Jawbone Up, FitBit Charge HR and Surge and even the Android Wear Gear Live . I actually returned the Surge to get the Blaze and for me at least it was definitely the right choice I suspect for elite athletes the Surge's GPS could be a better fit . I like the crisp color screen vs. the B/W of the Surge, and it tracks everything the Surge does except the builtin GPS but you can use your phones form that. The ability to change bands is welcome although a simple Leather band for $99.99 seems insanely high. I hope other companies will join in in making bands like they did for the FitBit Flex. If what you want is a no nonsense fitness tracker but don't need or want the ability to run apps this is IMO by far the best most balanced solution. It offers tracking of everything important to a fitness conscious person without the need for a steep learning curve or on wrist game play will love. if you want easy to use and ...at least for now on 3/2/16

I researched for weeks before deciding to purchase the Blaze over the iWatch and other Fitbit devices. I made a mistake with this purchase and don't recommend this product. Blaze doesn't track accurate mileage or steps. This morning I walked 8 miles. The blaze tracked 4.83! I've visited the Support site and performed the troubleshooting steps all to no avail. Save your money. If I could return this item I would.

I've given up on fit bit

I have given up on fit bit products. Step counts not accurate when compared to the Apple Watch, and invariably the software updates mess up it loses functionality. I have gone thru 3 fit bits-2 Charge HR''s (one broke, second one reformatted itself with a software update and lost most of the functions)and the Blaze (list functions and froze up after an update). The Blaze is pretty expensive, you are better off upgrading to the Apple Watch 2, it is much more accurate, and is water resistant.

I purchased this when it first came out because I like the possibility that you can change music on your wrist while you are running as well as all the other capabilities. This thing has been riddled with issues from day one. Viewing text messages is very inconsistent and drains the battery because it is always refreshing the bluetooth. My coworkers said it is better on an iphone but from my experience with droid I cannot recommend this product. I've had LG G5 and current a Galaxy S7.

I prefer Charge HR 2, also have Flex, Apple Watch 2, etc... It's not bad, but not my favorite. It's nice that I can buy aftermarket bands for cheap on Amazon though.
