Good but sometimes faulty with stairs

Extremely useful, but sometimes faulty with stair counts. Also, I've noticed that if you're holding something in your hand, it won't get accurate steps. The battery life is awesome though, and the displays are much better than previous version. I think it's too bulky to sleep with, so I don't. I do love the smart phone technology and that it syncs up with that.

This is my 3rd fitbit. I wanted a smart watch type product without all the apps. Just basic tracking needs. This item fit the bill perfectly. Pluses: Battery life Comfortable Minuses: Charging is cumbersome Screen could be more sensitive Optional bands are ridiculously priced

I tried Fitbit charge hr, garmin vivosmart, but end up returning them either because it didn't have exactly what I needed. Fitbit charge hr - no text, phone alert. Garmin vivosmart - terrible app and software. Fitbit blaze seems to have exactly what was missing from the charge HR. I had for 2 days now and it is really comfortable. The only thing I noticed was that it collects dust at the bottom/top gap between the frame and the unit. It is noticible and bothers me little bit but I hope over time it won't bother me as much.

    Good tracker

I began my fitness journey with the Charge HR- one of the not-so-basic but more basic than blaze trackers. Loved it! Decided that I loved it so much that I would upgrade to the Blaze model. Good and bad news. Good news first: solid tracker, and lightweight for the size. The display is much larger than my previous tracker and is in color. It has the ability to track different exercises as well as all the other typical Fitbit things such as HR, steps, sleep etc. very nice especially the sleep part. I also love that it recieved text messages, you can set alarms To go off on it and control your music through it as long as Bluetooth is on. Bad news: after about 4-5 months I had to send for a replacement because it lost its accuracy. However: I seem to be one of the few this has happened to and I just say Fitbit has been extremely kind. They replaced it at no charge without giving me any hassle. Other con is you can't answer calls/texts on the device. Overall great tracker. Would buy again.

    Great Watch for Staying Active

The purpose of this Watch is to help keep you active. It's. Or the best at notifications and other stuff, but it does help me think more frequently about getting up. I wish it was waterproof, I wish it would vibrate more aggressively, but am pumped it last like a week on one charge.

Spend the extra bucks on a REAL smartwatch. Or save a few bucks on a cheaper fitbit model. This watch was a great idea with great potential, but fitbit failed to deliver on this one. Upside: Battery life! Also, it is a sleek, comfortable watch with great fitbit features. Again, the best thing about this watch was battery life, but it really stops there. Downside: BORING. Messaging is spotty. Sometimes I was notified of new messages, most of the time I wasn't. Failed attempt to bring smartwatch features to a fitbit device. I had it for 2 weeks, then returned it. I feel like I can put my $200 towards a more useful device.

    Run mileage not accurate

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I love everything about the Fit bit Blaze. The only issue I have run into after having it for a couple weeks is that the mileage it indicates on the run exercise is off by 0.06 miles. And if it has any issues with the connection to your phone's GPS it could be more. Yesterday I ran 4 miles but it only indicated that it was 3.44mi. So for runs I will use my phone like I have always done and just pick "workout" to record my run activity. Other than that I love the Blaze and would buy another one. If they installed a gps and made it water proof that would be awesome. Also the text massages do not show for Verizon's message +, so you'll have to revert back to the normal text message app for you to be able to read the message on the Blaze.

Great fitness tracker with awesome battery life

I've had my Fitbit Blaze for a month and a half now and can definitely say I love it. It's light and sleek and I rarely notice it on my wrist. The constant tracking of my daily steps, heart rate and calories burned has me being more active and has me pushing harder each workout to "beat my score". If you're not messing around on the watch keeping the display on all the time, it easily lives up to it's advertised 5 day battery life. Some might say the smart features are lacking, but I don't need any features beyond the text/phone call/ calendar alerts. The Apple watch might have more features than the Blaze, but it's more that double the price and not necessary. Very happy with my purchase

    Awesome Watch!

I just recently started to work out and was looking for a smart watch to help track my progress. Was looking at the Moto 360 but did not care for their fitness apps. Then I found that FitBit came out with an actual smart watch. I have had it for a week now and absolutely love it! My wife even made me go out and get her one to replace her Samsung Gear Fit. The features of this watch are great and easy to use/navigate. The app works flawlessly and makes fitness and healthy living so much easier to keep track of with my hectic work schedule.

I had fitbit HR then i thought i would give a try to garmin HR since it is water resistant finally i reverted back to fitbit blaze.. Here is my take on each Fitbit whether blaze ir HR band is way better , you can sleep wearing it ..with the Garmin though it feels initially more convenient ..i couldnt sleep wearing itt Fitbit HR did cause skin irritation when water gets inderneath ur skin The garmin doesnt do that however fitbit band looks brand new after years.. The software application and the sleep tracking are best in class..the sleep tracking is the only useful one ..the rest doesnt compare

    good fitness tracker

I enjoy my fitbit blaze. Though using the Fitstar can be a bit hard while actually performing the workouts. I also found that the integration for text messages with android do not fully support multiple texts messages. IE it will just say you have two text messages. That being said it is a good product and I constantly get 4 to 5 days of use out of a single charge with the heart rate tracker turned to manual mode. It fits well and is so light that I sometimes forget I am wearing it. I would definitely recommend this as a purchase for someone that is more focused on the fitness tracking ability rather than using it as a smartwatch.

Great but with a few flaws

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The blaze works great, more accurate then my flex and the battery lasts a lot longer, the heart rate is accurate even with the band loose. The only flaws are the floor tracker doesn't register all the floors sometimes and the charger could be better designed but neither of these are real major issues so I still rate it 5 stars, the band that comes with it personally I don't care for it when at work so I purchased the stainless steel band with silver frame and the black stainless steel with black frame from Amazon and will use the band it came with for exercise and yard work.

My wife taked me into getting on team fitbit, to start competing against each other. I decided to go with the Blaze, since I am fairly more active and kinda of a tech geek. The first problem was trying to sync the item with the app, which reqyired a call to customer support. After deleting the app and re-downloading, it was finally able to sync. Then i was unable to sync the Fitbit app to the Under Aurmour - "Myfitnesspal". Finally after using it several times, and also maping the same activity with the ipod nano, nike run app and the gps (shoe) piece, my 5.1 mile run, equated to a 4.1 mile run on the Blaze. Again, talking to customer service, the Blaze distance is based on an algorithm, vice an accurate gps. I finally decided to return it, in exchange for the garmin vevosmart Hr+, for a couple bucks more. So far no problems. As for the fitbit, it does have some fancy features, and makes it easily accessable to compete and compare stats with others, but if you are ocd, like myself, and want accuracy in tracking your distances, i would highly recommend doing more research before purchase.
