    Blaze breakdown

Very frustrating product and service. Blaze screen started acting up with in 2 weeks, should have taken back right away. 60 days after buying heart rate stopped. Tried all on line options, BEst Buy would not take back as I did not buy extended warranty. Fitbit the company has been no help. Don't buy this product. Very frustrated with Fit bit and Best Buy, both lost a long term customer

Do not buy if you need an alarm or notifications

I upgraded from the Fitbit Charge which worked just fine. I am extremely disappointed in the alarm and notification vibration strength and length. I was use to using the Charge HR to wake me. The alarm on the Fitbit Blaze has yet to wake me and not wake the wife. The vibration is extremely weak and buzzes about 3 times then auto turns off. I now need to use my phone alarm. The notifications are the same. For a few more dollars I could have got an actual smart phone with a real alarm. If you are planning on using the alarm feature, look elsewhere or you are wasting your money. Would have done a 1/2 star if I could have. Because so many people are complaining about this in the forums I thought they would be doing a quick firmware update to fix the issue. Unfortunately, I waited too long and unable to return mine.

    Avoid this product

Do not purchase this device. I have had it nearly a month and it is too late to take it back for a refund. It is highly inaccurate in sleep tracking and steps taken, which is the only reason I purchased this device. It highly exaggerates steps taken by nearly 50% and it consistantly misses the number of times awake and length of time awake/restless. I have followed all recommendations from Fitbit and nothing works to improve its accuracy. Due to taking the time to make these changes per Fitbit, I kept it too long to return it according to Best Buy policy. Find a different product!! I wish I could give this a lower rating than a 1.

    Major Connection Issues

    Posted .

I have owned Fitbit devices from the very beginning and have been mostly pleased. Blaze is a different story. It hardly ever stays connected to my Galaxy Note 5 smartphone. I've contacted Fitbit support about this and they cannot identify the problem. They have sent me two replacement already and I still have the same problem. I am unable to update the latest firmware update (which I hoped might solve this problem) because it keeps losing the connection. If you own a Note 5, I would be very cautious about buying the Blaze. I will most likely revert back to my Charge which worked fine.

Horrible battery life after 4 months

I wanted to love the Fitbit blaze, I even wanted to like it. Unfortunately I am nothing but disappointed with the performance of the blaze... After only 4 months the problems started... the blaze used to last 4-6 days on a full charge, with heart rate monitoring on auto and quick view enabled, and Bluetooth turned on when I wanted to sync with the app( once a day usually) However now, I'm lucky to get 18 hours of use from a full charge with heart rate off, quick view off and only syncing once a day via Bluetooth... This is disappointing Fitbit....

Screen Issues less than 2 weeks

Not happy. I bought 2 of these and mine has already started having issues after 2 weeks or less of owning it. The buttons don't work and the screen won't return to home unless plugged in but still cannot scroll after unplugging. This is the second item I've bought from BB that has stop working after a few uses. (Other was the beats ear phones).

I hope step counts aren't important

I bought the Fitbit Blaze as an upgrade to my flex. It is a nice Fitbit, except it will only count about 50-60% of your actual steps. I have manually counted my steps and at 100, the Blaze will only register about 50-60 of those steps. It looks really nice, but so far it's just a decent watch.

Never worked out of the box

I wanted to like the Blaze, but it would never power on. After talking to Fitbit support, I was told to return it to the store. It simply would not power on. I returned it and plan on getting the Fitbit charge 2 in September.
