Strong fitness watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. All wearable gear fits into either the smartwatch category or the fitness device category. Some try to add features from the other category. None that I have encountered so far excel at both. Make no mistake, this is an excellent fitness watch, that does a decent job at adding smartwatch features. The real advantage of this watch is in the FitStar guided exercise category. If you're looking for a good fitness watch, this has a highly accurate step and pulse count, good battery, and enough added features to make it fun to play with. It will, however, never be a substitute for a full smartwatch - just like a no full smartwatch currently on the market does a very good job of fitness tracking yet.

Blaze Fitbit

My goal is total of 20 pounds. Great also keeping track of sleep and sleep patterns. Battery stays charged well.

Good Fitness Tracker, Not a Great Smartwatch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Fitbit Blaze to replace by Charge that had to be replaced multiple times due to the band falling apart. I liked that the bands were replaceable (in the event that the band fell apart) and the heart rate tracking. Step counting and sleep tracking work great, heart rate monitoring is good but seems to show lower numbers during intense workouts. The smartwatch capabilities are somewhat lacking though. Notifications can be spotty at times and you aren't able to take action on them. It only seems to pass along notifications from the default phone, messenger and calendar applications. It's a nice feature to have but I would not buy this thinking that it will really satisfy most smartwatch desires.

Fitbit blaze
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great watch. Love all the features. Shows texts too. I switched out the strap to a green canvas one because I thought it looked better. I like this fitbit better than my previous ones.

Great watch and fitbit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The watch is very comfortable and the face is big enough to see quickly. I love getting my text messages on the watch so I know if I need to grab my phone and reply immediately. My husband loves using the timer on his watch to cook the steaks on the grill without having to carry his phone! We both have the watch. We have validated it is water resistant when getting caught in the rain on ATV's. The exercise app is okay but I would prefer to have the ability to customize to fit my workouts. Seems this technology should support more apps to be worth the money spent. I am hoping for updates in the near future. Next version should include a built in GPS for running without the heavy/bulky phone.

I've had nearly every fitbit; favorite by far!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this on a whim, I previously had the Fitbit Charge HR. I saw an add and immediately went out to exchange for the Blaze. The screen is much more durable than I had anticipated! I wear mine on the inside of my wrist, for more accurate heart rate reading, so it is all the time rubbing on the counters and shelves at work, but has not had one scratch on it yet. I've had this one for a few months now. There are some tips to keep the battery lasting longer if you feel it dies quickly. I can usually get 3 or 4 days before it completely dies.

More pros than cons
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had Fitbit for two years now.! First was a charge and I upgraded to the Blaze because I wanted something that did a little more! Especially when I am at work and can see my text and calls! I love the workouts that are built into the watch they are very helpful and convenient! The most addictive part is the challenges!! They motivate you to keep going and moving even when you don't always want to! All together I've lost 50lbs while using Fitbit! Now I did have a few band issues with my charge but best buy took care of it! Make sure to purchase a warranty! Then with my Blaze I had one issue with my tracker but again it was taken care of with no problem! Investing in Fitbit is money well spent!

Very good fitness tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As the fitness tracker, it's great. With the newest update, it has a calm routine which is interesting. Sleep tracking is interesting, and I learned just how restless I normally am at night. The only downside is the other capabilities as far as a "smart watch" Have to download a separate app to have it display texts and other things and it seems to be effective about 70% of the time. Not a big deal, but I have had it for 9 months and it seems to come and go as far as the text/notification. Good fitness tracker though, and that's what matters. If you want a smart watch, I think most of them can track steps and if that's what you want/need go for the other device.

Great watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The watch is a lot better then the charge. It has a 5 day battery with the notifications on and very easy to read. I like how you can turn the alarms on and off. Just wish you could have apps on here

"I have to go charge my watch"
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'll admit, I'm slightly amused how many times I've uttered those words. Yes, charging and syncing the fitbit does seem a bit inconvenient, perhaps a deal-breaker to some, but I feel like this is a problem people would have "in the future." The "future" being now. Overall, I have no major complaints, all this is still relatively new technology, at least on a mass produced commercial level. Stair Climbed Accuracy it particularly inaccurate, and the band does start to irritate the skin, but that can be remedied with warm soap and Cetaphil, which I recommend to sooth the fatigued skin. I only have two major grievances, neither of which are technically the fault of the watch itself, hence the 4 stars, but this has more to do with the apps and the way BPM ranges are calculated. While I'm not so savvy on programming and software architecture, I feel very strongly that one major variable is conspicuously missing from any mobile fitness brand. That would be drugs. Whether these drugs come from a licensed physician or are obtained illegally, can WILDLY influence things such as resting heart rate, or registering general psychomotor agitation as "steps" towards your daily goal. I understand that every individual reacts differently to different substances, and of the thousands of possible combinations against unpredictable variables; even on a genetic level drug sensitivity can be greatly influenced, vis a vis active genetic markers, how substances are metabolized, neurochemical balance, the list goes on. I don't know taking all this into account is even viable from a technological stand point, likely some kind of AI would need to be developed, and of course consulting with your physician is always a good idea. Case in point: I am a 26 year old male, slightly overweight, and even though I'm not the most athletic guy out there, my Fitbit sure thinks I am. My resting heart rate averages between 110-120. It's not so appropriate to get too specific here, but the medications I require raise my heart rate and so If i'm doing something as simple as washing dishes, Fitbit seems to think I'm training for a triathlon. I know ranges can be manually adjusted, but I may be spoiled by all this automation and predictive feedback, I should've have to. I just punch in my how much and when I take my dosages, factors other variables, such as did I take it while in a fasting state? How do my other prescriptions interact? Maybe after aggregating all my health data collected nearly 24/7, I might be able to receive a warning that I'm approaching a Vitamin D deficiency, and see a doctor to make sure nothing's wrong...or even just suggestion to alter my diet to avoid the situation all together. I know it's a bit of a Pie-in-The-Sky idea, but from my perspective it's a major flaw that I feel was overlooked. The watch itself is good, I guess. It's balanced, is a better word. It charges fast, but drains fast depending what features you use. The choice of clock faces are exciting. While there is a moderate variety of watch bands to pick, from the default sporty kind-of rubber, to a rugged cloth type, or chain links, they are entirely too expensive. But ask yourself this: how often do you change watch bands to begin with anyway? Bottom line, I'm satisfied. I'll likely skip the next 2 or 3 generations of fit watches before I even consider a new one.

I love it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you don't need to make calls and answer text on the watch . This is the best one around. Steps, calories and all are great. Tracks sleep and all. I love it and am lost without it.

Great Tool for tracking & sharing activity.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great features for the price point. Only down fall is that you can't wear it in the pool but for the price it's a great option. I love that you can change the band to dress it up or down.

Nice FitBit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the color touch screen. Don't like how it charges, but there are off-brand chargers available that don't require removing it front the band. Also like the fact that you can switch bands.

Great fitness tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Blaze as a replacement for my Fitbit Pulse that I've had since 2015. The Blaze fits my wrist very well and is thinner and sleeker than the Pulse. It does everything my Pulse did and looks much better. I can wear it all the time for casual or work. I love my Blaze!!
