The new Blaze is a nice update to the Fitbit lineup. I love the continuous heart rate monitoring and display while I workout or run as well as the automatic sleep monitoring. It is nice looking on the wrist and fit's comfortably without any irritation. Has a good compliment of workout apps as well as incoming call and txt notifications and music play. Not thrilled with the charging process of popping out the face and placing in a odd clam shell charging device. Battery life is great. Definitely would like the built in GPS (of which the Surge has) as opposed to the "connected" GPS feature using your phone. Compared to the Apple Watch, it does not allow you to add apps if you prefer that, however If workout data is more important to you the Fitbit software is far superior to the Apple Health data.

First of all it is GIGANTIC. The picture I submitted is just a funny angle, so it's really not that huge but it is big :) I wear a small and it has been tough to get used to but that helps since I can't see very well but after a few hours it drives me nuts and I need to take it off. It doesn't sit normally on my wrist and gets cockeyed. The features are okay but in comparison to my husband's Samsung, it is very basic when it comes to logging activity and there are not many options. The battery lasts days and it has a timer which I love. It also tracks your sleep which is pretty neat to see. I love being nudged to get up and move when I need to make my goals. You can change the face, but again, not many options. I do however love the Fitbit community to compete with my friends and get ideas for activity and diet. That IS a benefit to have the support :)

I had the Charge HR and loved it for the heart rate and sleep hours updates. This unit does those things as well as reminds me to get up and move. I dont like that I have to remove and place the face of the unit in a keeper in order to update my computer but it is easy to update my phone. Pretty good battery life for about a week.

I did a lot of research before buying my fitbit. I went back and forth between apple watch and fitbit and I eventually decided to go with fitbit due to the price and I'm so glad I did because I love it. I'm sure apple watch is amazing but at the end of the day I wanted a fitness tracker more and I love how it allows me to be more conscious of my daily activities, my workouts, my calories. Fitbit Blaze delivered and exceeded my expectations.

Depending on my work schedule, I either get to exercise 0 - 5 days a week. Currently, I'm at 0. However, I love how the blaze tracks all the steps and stairs I climb on a daily basis. For the most part, it tracks even in my apartment which is on the 47th floor.
I've been complimented on the look of it by apple watch users. I think I may get a new wristband to make it even more sleek looking.
I wear it to bed and have discovered what a poor sleeper I am. That's a double edged sword folks as I now know half the time I spend in bed is the number of actual sleep I get (in bed 4 hours, restless 7x, 1h 47m of sleep).
The battery life is great! I only have to charge it every 5-6 days. I usually do this at night.
The heart monitor is sort of accurate. It's not much different than any other wrist monitor in the market though so I can't knock it. If anything, I find that it bumps up my heart rate between 5-10 bpm in a stasis position.
I would recommend this to anyone who actually exercises, not someone who just wants a pedometer.

PRO: The battery last for five days as advertise, good job for Fitbit. It detects the exercise automatically. CONS: The display is a little hard to read in the sun, I think, it is due to the clock background and color. The touch screen sometimes does not work, I have to tap it a few times. Sometimes, I have to twist my wrist a few times to display the time. Accuracy on the fitness tracking is unknown and hard to compare. The one, I really hate is removing the watch to charge, I may have to return it and exchange with Apple Watch because of this. It is very annoying removing the watch to charge. The charger is also very cheap and I have a feeling is easy to break. Collecting dust on the opening bottom and top of the watch and hard to clean. Well, It is not too bad for first Fitbit watch. I am sure, it will be improve in the second release.

I got my Fitbit Blaze about a month ago. So far I like it. My goal was to get something to motivate me to stay active and it’s workig great. Sometimes the “raise to wake” feature is a little slow. I might have to raise my wrist a few times and pretty aggressively before the screen lights up but it’s not a big deal or malfunction. I can easily press a button to wake it so I’m not losing any sleep. I read a few reviews before I purchased and this seems to be common, but again it’s not a concern of mine. Overall a great product. I was nervous that it was going to seem huge on my tiny wrist but it’s just fine. I opted for the Blaze and not the Ionic because there are very few differnces. The Ionic has built-in GPS, music storage and can be worn while swimming. None of these features are important to me so I got the Blaze for $100 less.

Is very easy to use and has all the stuff I want on a fitness watch. I am not a fitness enthusiast but I am try to up my activity level in an effort to lower my weight and this watch works perfect for that. Lets me know if I'm sitting too long and reminds me to get in 250 steps every hour. Plus it has a sleep tracker!!

Wearing a Fitbit is a life changing idea...I wear it every day. The things I value most are things it does well so after a month long trial period, I'm keeping it. What I like most is the automatic tracking of just about everything, especially the fact that it knows when I start exercising and when I go to sleep. However, I'm not tracking specific exercises and the built in choices do not appear to be as robust as the Surge. The Fitbit app works well and overall it gives me about as much consolidated information about my activity as most people could want. Also, charging once every 5 days is great. On the other side, it is large and not as good to look at when you're wearing it as I was hoping. Also, the notifications from my phone (for text's and calls) work, but you can't see the content of group texts and the text is very small.

I started with a Fitbit Flex so I could track my steps, but I realized I wanted a more such as a heart rate monitor and a watch. The Blaze offered me those and much more. One of the better features is the music control and notifications. Quite often when I'm exercising, my iPhone is in an armband and with the Blaze I can see incoming texts and phone calls. I can also control my music with it. In addition, the Blaze has Fitstar exercises that are great if you only have time for a quick workout.
I gave it four starts because I think there is room for improvements such as being able to personalize the functions and perhaps adding more Fitstar exercises.

I like this watch much better than my previous Fitbit Charge HR. You do not need to charge it daily; however it does not remain charged for five days as advertised. I am only getting about 2 to 3 days on mine.
This watch gives better results on heart rate, time exercised, and calories burned than the Charge HR. However, I did not know nor do I like the fact that you must REMOVE the face of the watch to charge it. The face pops out of the encasement and you need to enclose it in its own case to charge it. The watch does not have a direct plug-in connection to the computer as the Charge HR. I feel that in time, like the Charge HR, it will begin to fall apart as the other Fitbit watches I have owned. I am afraid the watch face will become lose in its encasement which will necessitate me to purchase another watch.
Since I just purchased this watch, I am optimistic it is a better quality watch than the Charge HR. However, only time will tell. I like Fitbit watches for their functionality; however they are rather poorly constructed and one might think they build in obsolescence so that people will purchase more of them. I can understand that; however, after paying over $300 for this watch, I am expecting it to last at least a year.
I have owned now three Fitbit watches - 2 Charge watches and 1 - Charge HR. All of them had problems such as knobs falling off, pieces falling off them after three to four months. So I will take a wait-see attitude to see how this much more expense watch fares.
If you do purchase this watch, I would advise you take out the service contract. This way, if it fails within three to four months, you can either get another watch or get your money returned.

I used to have a Fitbit charge HR. It was very basic compared to the Fitbit blaze. The design looks better, it has more features, and I love that I can view text messsges on my watch. It gives you reminders/vibrations if you’re sedentary for too long. Overall, it’s great!

I consider getting the Apple Watch initially but my sister persuaded me to check out the FitBit and it's the best decision I've made this year. It shows my notifications, tracks steps and heart rate and really motivates me to stay active. Definitely worth the $200.

I purchased the IONIC because it was the newest fit bit. It didn't work well with my phone so I switched to the blaze. Switching from the IONIC to the blaze, I hope they do a software update on the blaze so it's similar to the IONIC. I still like the blaze. It does what I need for a cheaper price.

Purchased for my wife and she absolutely loves it. She's disciplined when it comes to daily visits to the gym. This device gives her all the insight into her workouts she needs. The user interface on the watch is easy to use. The text and incoming call alerts are a great feature. The calorie burn and heart rate features are her favorite; Specifically the level of accuracy this Model provides. The phone app allows food and water consumption and is overall easy to use. No complaints here! I did purchase the extended warranty just in case of disaster. Seemed plausible with this kind of device but so far, it seems bullet proof! Easy to charge and switch out bands.

If u don't care about talking into ur wrist; don't feel like spending $400; and GPS on the watch itself is not a necessity; then u should seriously consider this watch! It has all the vital features I wanted and more. I love that I can control my music and volume on my phone from my watch; the heart rate is pretty darn close to accurate; and I can see all my text messages and calendar reminders from my phone on my watch! There's more but price is important too and this watch is worth the low $200 price tag! Luckily I bought mine on sale for $150. U won't be sorry.

Great for fitness freaks or even just tracking your life. Can track steps taken, floors climbed and even sleep, among others. I haven’t been very active myself but the sleep tracker is amazing! It can even tell you what sleep stages you are in.
