I recently received a Fitbit Blaze as a gift. After I got the additional instructions from Youtube on how to set it up, it was easier to download on my phone than to set it up on my computer. You needed a doggle to set it up on the computer, of which it was not included. It would have been nice to have a quick guide instruction card than to rely fully on the instructions on-line. I still don’t know what the bottons on the right side of the watch are for. Originally, before I was told about the Youtube instructions, my process to set up was going in a loop… I couldn’t get anywhere. Well, I finally got it set up. The first item I used was the sleep mode. The results were very revealing. The next item I liked was keeping track of the water. The food record is nice but a challenge for me in that I don’t like having to record everything. It will wear on me though. Knowing what you eat and how much you eat is an eye opener. What would help that process is if you have like a 1200, 1500, or even a 1800 calorie menu that included carbs, protein, fruit and veggies , and fats to choose from for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Since my focus is for better health, I will eventually use the Blaze to incorporate everything it has to offer. I love the step counter and checking out the BPM, heartrate. This is definitely a step in the right direction.

I started with an original FitBit then got a Charge HR and now upgraded to the Blaze when it went on sale. So glad I did! I love everything about it. It's great for tracking workouts and have done some of the Fit Star workouts. Love the hourly reminders to get up and move. The text messages on the watch are great too. So pleased with this. It looks very sharp too.

I bought this watch to replace my Fitbit Surge. I am very happy with this watch! I love that I can change out the band. It does all the things that my Surge did and it was $100 cheaper. The only difference is that this watch doesn't have its own GPS. It connects with your phones GPS, which wasn't a big deal for me because I always carry my phone when I'm running.

Love that the Blaze tracks your steps and tells you how many more steps you need to hit your goal, also like that you can change the bands out for other colors.

I had a Garmin Vivo active prior and loved it for battery and notifications. But the band broke. When I saw the features on this FitBit I bought it and made the switch. It has run pace and distance and syncs with your phone GPS. Just what I wanted. Pretty in sync with Runtastic app. Love the exchangeable bands. Multiple new clock faces are fun and useful.

If you want a apple but just don’t want to pay that extra money for it this is your baby here. It does just as much as other watches for a fraction on the price

Overall very happy with the Blaze, especially with the notifications for phone, text, and calendar appointments. I like the ability to put the screen in the exercise mode to monitor heart rate, but haven't found the right positioning to get consistent accurate counts. It is nice to be able to select different clock displays, and to be able to turn it off and save the charge if I'm occasionally not wearing it at night.

I've had my Blaze for about a month now and so far I'm happy with it. I ultimately choose this over the other products out there because of the HR feature and community of friends I have. I have a couple complaints however. I'm not super excited that the unit is not really water resistant. I'd prefer not to have to take it off if I'll be in or near water because I'm afraid I won't remember to put it back on. I wish there was some resistance at least. My other main issue is the clock faces. I like that there are four choices, but not each face has the same features. Example: I like the "pop" face, but you can't see your steps quickly. You have to "flip" screens to see your progress. I've been told that some people have been able to use the unit for up to five days, but so far, I think four days is the most I've stretched it without fear of it just shutting down because of a dead battery. I'd hate to be in the middle of a workout and not be able to record anything I did. However, all around I'm still happy with the product and I'm looking forward to more use. Maybe Fitbit can do some product upgrading (software) if anything?

Pros: I really like the size of the watch. It is pretty large, but I don't mind it. I love that I can turn music from my phone up/down, with just a push of a bottom. I teach exercise classes so this is awesome! I can continue the class without having to reach for my phone to adjust the volume of the music. I also really like the alarm feature. My husband HATES that I push snooze, so I can do so with my Blaze without it waking him up. Cons: Not waterproof. I wore a waterproof Garmin for 3 years so I hate that I have to take this off at the pool and while showering. If you let the battery die, you must sync the Blaze with the App to make sure the time is accurate. I made this mistake once, and since I use the alarm function on my Blaze, I woke up 25 minutes and consequently was late to work because I didn't notice that the time was off until it was too late.

I have had previous models of the Fitbit and the Blaze is by far the best one. It does not have the GPS like the Surge but if you have your phone on you it will like up to your Fitbit app. I love how lightweight it is and how you can change bands as needed. The band on the Surge bubbled after 4 months and there was no way to replace the band. Get product!

I love my Blaze. The color screen is awesome. The heart rate monitor is also handy during my workouts. The battery lasts about 5 days. I also really like being able to buy different bands for it so it's totally customizable. The only downside is it's not that comfortable sleeping with it if you sleep on your arm under a pillow or something.

Excellent interface. Heart rate monitor is an improvement on the fitbitHR. Syncing to the fitbit app is rather slow. But it does eventually sync correctly. Battery life is roughly 3 days, does much better if you turn Bluetooth off when you don't really need it. Charging is very quick, only 20-30 minutes usually takes it from close to empty to nearly full.

I love the Fitbit blaze. I have found the heart rate monitor to be accurate most of the time. I've compared it to my chest strap heart rate monitor. It works well as a pedometer, it seems to read about the same as my old Fitbit one. I also love the clock face to use as a watch. It is simple to use and encourages me to be more conscious of my activity.
