    The Fitbit is not as accurate as I expected since it triggers off of arm movements rather than steps. If on a treadmill and holding the side rails, it will not record steps even though you are walking. Shopping and pushing a shopping cart does not record steps because arms are still. Scratch your head while standing still records steps because arm is moving. Still gives some idea of exercise.
