Ok so I've had a number of Fitbit's. This is a new and very improved model of what used to be a Charge HR. For Exercise and Sleep there is none better. That and it synchs quickly unlike higher end HR monitor the Surge. It works great with apps including My Fitness Pal. I had tons of syncing issues with the Surge but was able to return it to BB under the warranty. Not a fashion guy but do love the colors you can choose from. It's also less bulky than bigger watches. It doesn't get in the way if your throwing Kettlebells

I like the improvements from the Charge HR. Being able to see your steps, heart rate, miles, calories burned, floors, active minutes and 250 steps on the first screen is a nice improvement. I also like the new features that have Run, Weights, Treadmill, Workout, Elliptical, Bike and Interval Workout. The charger is also much better than the original Charge HR. Overall I would highly recommend the new Charge HR 2.

I used to have the original charge and that thing was a piece of dung. It fell apart after a few months and then it actually fell off my wrist because I don't know what Fitbit was thinking but didn't have a lockable latch. I was pretty much forced to buy a new Fitbit because of them. That being said, this one is sleek, has a watch style clasp and seems completely overhauled on a more functional and practical side. A+

Really like the Charge 2 - few minor issues

This is my first fit bit and i really like it. I use the Fitbit app in conjunction with my fitness pal app and they work great. Just a few minor issues: 1. It tends to overestimate your steps. After researching on-line the way to fix it is to tell Fitbit that your dominant hand is the opposite of what it really is and wear it on the non dominant hand. So I'm right handed and i told fit bit i was left handed and I'm wearing it on my left hand. This will de-sensitize the step counter 2. The screen is easily scratched. Be careful.

The FirBit charge 2 is awesome. Keeps good track of your progress and I love the updates informing you that's it's time to move so you meet your goal of steps per day. I've worn my Fitbit to Sea World twice now and it's been wet several times and keeps working. Don't submerge it in water but sweat, rain and water rides followed by towel or shirt dry make this watch extra durable and great for all workout occasions.

    Better display and charging mechanism.

Had to replace my 3rd fitbit. First one didn't have watch loops/but snaps and it fell off and was lost. The last charge HR version just gave up on me as it had done with the prior version I had that they replaced for me. Former charge mechanism would ult remove part of the back of fitbit due to plugging in and out constantly. New version is nicer looking and has a better charge. Step count seems sig harder though than prior versions. Feels like I need to hit twice my regular/former steps to hit my goal or have steps calculate.

Fun to Have Except for Wristband

Once it was set up (which was a bit problematic) I find it works fine, except the wristband is a pain to get on and off. The band is thick and unwieldy and I have ordered a metal magnetic one for ease of use. Also it doesn't tell you about your sleeping accurately, so don't think it's going to help there. It's told me about my sleep when I was awake, for example. Otherwise it's a fun item to have. It seems to record heart rate accurately and I've enjoyed seeing how many times I go up and down the stairs each day - which is a lot!

I had the first generation of the Charge but the Charge 2 is just as better then the first. Honestly it’s a great way to keep motivated with reminders to get up and move. I love how they included different workout options.

My husband had quadrupled bypass and needs to monitor his heart rate. He doesn't like the fancy one as long as he can check the time and the heart rate. I thought of an Apple Watch, but the salesman suggested the Fitbit and my husband loves it and very simple and much less than the Apple Watch. Best Buy people are great! Will save money and want to buy for Christmas gift to myself. His was his 78th birthday gift from me.

I started off with the original Fitbit Charge. Upgraded to the Charge HR and now to the Charge 2. I like that the tracker keeps me going. The hourly reminders to get moving are a good motivator to take a quick break/walk at work. The features are pretty awesome, too. I like the text and call notifications on the display and the ability to track my workouts, including different types of exercise, is nice.
