Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the Charge 2's accurate heart rate and sleep tracking capabilities, along with its ease of use and long battery life. Many appreciate the device's step tracking and the additional features it offers. However, some concerns exist regarding the band's durability and the lack of full waterproofing. The screen size and notifications are also frequently praised.

I use the charge 2 to track my exercise. It handles what I enter manually well, as well as walks and elliptical workouts. It recognizes cycling, but does a poor job of assigning steps for that. I get far more credit for 30 minutes on an elliptical than I do a 50 mile bike ride, which seems stupid, but once I accept that and move on, it's fine. It does a fair job on heart rate, calories and flights climbed.and ltracks what I do, workout-wise, and as long as I don't ask any more of it, it does what I need it to do.

We bought this one for my dad to finally bring him into the Fitbit world that we’ve been living in for over 8 years and almost every version of Fitbit trackers.

I'm enjoying and benefiting from this FitBit. I'd had 3 previous FitBits and the major problem was the battery charge length and battery life. The charge length on the Charge 2 is approximately five to six days - excellent. I've only had it four months, so I'm hoping the battery life will also deliver. I like the dark blue band - keeps it from getting lost - and the opportunity to change out the bands.

My family has not had great luck with the Fitbit brand. It's a fine product when it works properly, but it's very finicky and doesn't like to work properly very often. I started with the Charge 2 and after a couple bad apples upgraded to the Charge HR, but that didn't matter either, I ended up going through 5-6 tracker/watches over the coarse of the warranty. This is probably the one time I got my money's worth for buying the extended warranty. My wife has had a few different models and each have failed in the first year of use. Our 3 children each received one for a gift and all have failed as well. After the original warranty expired on mine, it worked well for about 4 months before it froze up. I had to decide if I wanted to do another round of Fitbit Follies or move on to another brand, currently I have not done anything yet, but I am leaning on another brand route. I guess at the price they want for their product and my history with them, I couldn't pull the trigger. If you find a price too good to pass, I suggest get it, but if you're buying at regular price, I would suggest going with another product.

Once I had Fitbit Charge 2 that worked (had to return first one as it didn't work) and charged, pretty easy to set up and has a lot more features that my Fitbit Charge I had for over 2 years. Like that it gives you reminder to move to get your 250 steps per hour in. Can set an alarm with it. Lots more features that are useful. Still learning and haven't had opportunity to use everything yet.

I used this for about a year, and was very happy with it. One day while washing my hands it got wet, and the display quit working. The other functions continued to work correctly, I just couldn't see it on the watch. Since water damage isn't covered under warranty, Fitbit support gave me a 25% discount on a new one. Unfortunately, the 25% off the direct price from Fitbit was essentially the same price I paid at Best Buy, so it wasn't much of a deal.

I previously had a Fitbit Flex, and this is a great improvement. The tracker automatically detects sleeping, so I don't have to manually tap the tracker to sleep. I also really appreciate the new "steps per hour" feature that reminds me to get at least 250 steps per hour. The band is an improvement over the Flex too, and not having to take the tracker out to charge it makes is less likely I'll rip the band.

Switched over from the Jawbone UP 3 because of bad bands on the product. Have had the Fitbit for a week and absolutely love it. Love the interchangeable bands.
