Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the Charge 2's accurate heart rate and sleep tracking capabilities, along with its ease of use and long battery life. Many appreciate the device's step tracking and the additional features it offers. However, some concerns exist regarding the band's durability and the lack of full waterproofing. The screen size and notifications are also frequently praised.

    Fitbit Upgrade

This is my second Fitbit, I wanted more functions and the Charge HR 2 delivers. I love the sleep feature, it's automatic not manual. I like the reminders to walk, I am getting more steps in throughout the day. I can read my text messages from my phone although I can't respond and I get an alert for phone calls which has really come in handy. If you want lots of features this is a good choice. If you want the basics, there are other Fitbit options to explore.

Some simple improvements with the face have really improved this fitbit from previous modes. It isn't too clunky or big (for a 6'0, 200lb male) and keeps things simple while also adding the necessary features you would want. I'm not a big fan of heart rate monitors, but this works as well as any I've seen/used before. No real complains and would recommend.

A friend at work recommended the Fitbit products. Since my upcoming back surgery required extensive postop exercise I decided to make this purchase. I am very pleased with this item. It has enabled me to track my walking, time spent exercising, heart rate, etc. I look forward to accessing and utilizing its many other features once I'm closer to full recovery.

Better than the Charge HR, but...

This is better than the Charge HR in almost every way and is way better at tracking activities and providing move reminders. However, the bands are much larger, so if you wore a large before, you still might want to try a small. It also looks a bit more like a watch than the HR, which just looked like a band, so you might feel silly wearing this AND a watch.

This device has pretty accurate heartrate senor and is a perfect device to use as a fitness tracker. Probably the best at its price.

Nice reminder and motivations throughout the day. Able to notify you via vibration for calendar reminders, texts, etc. Love the long battery lifetime in-between charges that runs ~ 7 days for myself. Also has a great on-line app that summarizes on all your data tracking for the day/week/month that is easily/quickly sync'd up to your smart phone via bluetooth.

Good: tracks sleep, battery life, Bad: heart rate sensor can hurt your wrist, tends to over count steps

Seems to detect HR fairly accurately. Not too wide on hand. Only downside is that it is not waterproof.

    My first Fitbit

I asked my husband for a Fitbit for Christmas. I have been extremely pleased with it once I changed the original strap which cut into my arm. Since I received it I began swimming for exercise and this fit bit does not go in the water so I will probably be moving up to one that does. For my first Fitbit this was just what I wanted.

I wanted a watch to alert me of texts and phone calls. Went with this to add the activity tracker as well. All features work great. Can read texts on the screen. The app interaction is fun. I have been able to motivate myself by seeing friends and family progress. A surprise feature is the sleep tracker. It's helpful to know how well I slept at night.

This is my second tracker from Fitbit. I got this one after some damages to my old Fitbit Charge. While I can't vouch for the usefulness of HeartRate monitor, I like looking at my heart rate time to time. Tracks steps, activity and sleep. Not exactly accurate but acceptable for a tiny tracker sitting on your wrist. I am not a big fan of the looks but I prefer to live with it. Would be great to see a tracker from Fitbit with a good desing/looks.

I love the fact that it's so easy to compete with friends who own Fitbits on a weekly or weekend basis. It's also very interesting to see sleep patterns and learn about what healthy sleep is and how I compare. I don't like the fact that hand movements count as steps. I have a friend who works in a Post Office and his step count is artificially high because of his hand movements. Same with my friend who plays drums - it's no fun competing with them.
