The Fitbit synchronizes via blue tooth with your Iphone/ android device's app which is where will go to view your health data. The app itself is robust, feature rich, and well-designed and thought about. you will see graphs showing your workouts, daily heart rate trends, calorie usage, and step count. For our purposes we focus on the sleep tracking. You wear the Fitbit while you sleep and it estimates the length and quality of sleep you are getting based on your movement and heart rate.

This was a gift for my husband and he loves it! It makes him move and get his steps in for the day. Very happy with his gift.

Heart rate monitor is pretty accurate so far and it beats wearing the chest strap of a Garmin. Had 2 Garmin Vivosmarts die in a year, this seems like a better product right out of the box!

This motivates me to move and has a variety of exercise and other modes that tracks my daily progress. Combined with the app on my phone, there are additional capabilities likes calorie counters from all your daily food intake as well as suggestions on exercise and monitors sleep. I have started to see a significant difference in my weight and attentiveness due to paying attention to what I eat and calories I burn with the exercise I do. This is a great gadget that I would recommend for anyone's well being!

Good tracker as far as fitness tracking but not so much if u are looking to control ur phone like messages and calls
