I had the first generation Charge, which fell apart within a year. Fortunately, FitBit replaced it with the Alta (and realized their design flaw). I've since given the Alta to my son (still working great) and upgraded to the Charge HR. About a month or so in and the battery is lasting 5 days or more and the construction is much better. I like the detachable bands and see how FitBit has ensured this won't fall apart. I'm not sure the stairs are being counted accurately, but I love the heart rate feature on this one.

This thing is amazing!! Wife loves it and my grand daughter's do also. Tracks heart rate, sleep patterns, steps and more.

I am very happy with my Fitbit! I am very impressed with the way that it keeps track of my sleep patterns. The only reason for not giving the 5th star is, I drive truck (6-700 miles per day) and it counts steps as I am driving. Some days I have 30,000+ steps and 30+ floors climbed.

The Fitbit charge 2 is good for tracking activity and sleep, it will also remind you to get up and move, alert you to calls or texts and it also has a good battery life between charges

I purchased this item as a gift for my wife, about 3 weeks ago. She completely loves it, and uses it daily. I own the previous Charge HR fit bit, and this one received some nice improvements. On key difference is the larger screen, that now allows you to view your text messages, it also has a much nicer interface. For those who have never used a Fit Bit before, it is a great device that tracks your steps, sleeping habits, active minutes,calories burned and a few other things. I definitely recommend this product.

So i bought this so it would motivate me to move more. It does and i love that it tracks my sleep cycles. Has a great community that helps as well. so glad i made this purchase and its well worth the money i spent.

Nothing but good things to say. I bought this for my wife so that she can keep track of her fitness goals and she's already utilizing it really well. It pairs quick and easy to her iPhone and it looks really cool.

Easy set up if you follow the instructions NOT the web site. This my second monitor and I enjoy all of the features heart and sleep monitor specifically. The replaceable band is a great added feature to this model.

I bought this for my husband who has sleep problems. The sleep stages app really helps track personal progress and trends. The HR monitor reveals surprises you never would guess about yourself. It is great when you are training to stay active as you age. My husband likes it a lot.

I had a Charge HR (which broke down after some 17 months - probably shower water after it survived nevertheless some 100 showers at least). So the new Charge 2 is a replacement and I must say that Fitbit did some real improvements. The battery life is now really "up to 5 days" - Charge HR said the same, but was not. The charging connector is considerably improved. And of course, the new large display is nice to read. But why is it still not waterproof? Fitbit says "water resistant" and "splash proof" but the manual (not easy to find on Internet) says the same than for Charge HR "Do not shower with the device" - so a shower is more than "splash" !?

I love the tracker, the app linked to it is amazing as well. It helps get great data points. The band takes a little getting used to but it is totally worth it when you hit your weekly goal and the band vibrates.

I got my Fitbit Charge 2 after seeing my nieces. I love it. You can see the clock and notifications that your phone receives, although you can't respond it's nice to see. This is my first fitbit and I'm impressed. I Love the App on my Iphone it shows your steps, Sleep patterns, and challenges you may be in with friends and family. There's so much more. I totally adore it. I did get the screen protector too. Just to protect it. I would definitely recommend anyone to get one, you can't go wrong with it.

Works well and the app is great. They are behind some of the other brands in two key areas. One: Unit is not waterproof and if almost everyone else can do it they should be able to. Two: Unit does not have some of the features that some of the other units have (i.e. The Apple Watch and Samsung Gear). But as a fitness watch it does a great job!! Easy to set up and easy to use. The heart rate monitor is plenty accurate. I have seen some reviews complaining about the accuracy. Unless you are a professional I can't see where a variance of one or two beats per minute is going to matter. Even for a pro I can't imagine that it will make a big difference.

Not really a smart watch, not just a pedometer, the charge 2 finds a nice middle ground. I've used both the charge HR and Alta HR and the charge 2 is still my go to fitbit device. Long battery life, easy to read display, connected GPS. Just an all around good activity tracker.

It is easy to operate and well priced. I can access my health related info on a dedicated website. I especially enjoy the simplicity, well made, no nonsense band! I highly recommend it! I am satisfied with the easy online checkout and speedy delivery in great packaging! The knowledge of my sleep cycle is amazing!

The FitBit activity tracker is an excellent choice as a gift for yourself or someone else! I purchased it as a gift for my daughter and she loves it! There are so many features on this product - it is amazing.

I've not had the Fitbit 2 gadget for about three weeks and really like the information it provides me each day and each moment I have it on. I also like that a single charge lasts several days, without having to recharge it. The heartbeat feature is particularly appealing, as it sets a goal for me to lower the beat per minute, slowing my heart down to lower my stress level. In short, compared to the gadgets I've had in the past, this one is the one I like the must.

The extended battery life has been great. And the hourly "alarms" reminding me to move has been extremely helpful. Only thing I have against it is that it's not water resistant.
