Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the Charge 2's accurate heart rate and sleep tracking capabilities, along with its ease of use and long battery life. Many appreciate the device's step tracking and the additional features it offers. However, some concerns exist regarding the band's durability and the lack of full waterproofing. The screen size and notifications are also frequently praised.

Bought this for my daughter. She uses it for step tracking and message notifications. Heart rate tracking works well. Only thing she wishes it could do was sending text messages from her wrist but it does not have a mic. She says she loves it and it goes pretty well with most outfits. I wouldn't know about that....

I bought this watch after offering several to my husband including the Apple Watch which he hates. It is simple to use as he is old school- He loved the fact that he can track his activity with just a simple glance. He loves it!! And I am happy because I saved over $250 the difference from the Apple Watch .

    Nice upgrade over Charge HR

I've had a Charge HR for a couple years and the Charge 2 has a number of improvements over the HR. The screen is easier to read in daylight and you can adjust a few more things directly on the watch (vs soley by synching to smart phone). The text notifications is nice -- I can read the text on the watch and then decide if I need to pull the phone out to respond. The Charge 2 is more "watch-like" than the HR. The HR was more like a wrist band so less noticeable. I'd play softball game with the HR on, but the Charge 2 is a bit too nice for that. The Charge 2 is much lighter/smaller than an apple watch, but not invisible either. The heart rate monitoring works better than the HR. The HR struggled to keep up when my heart rate exceeded 150 bpm while the Charge 2 does better there. The enhanced sleep monitoring of the Charge 2 (i.e. REM vs light vs deep) seems to work only 50% of the time. The other 50%, get the "old" sleep monitoring stats that the HR had. From reading the Fitbit support forums, this seems to be a known issue but no fix yet. I don't care much as the enhanced sleep stats are just marginally better anyways. I've not pushed the battery life before recharging -- instead charging every other day after the meter reaches 85% full. So seems like it would last the advertised 5 days easily. The meter displaying on the watch was a nice enhancement versus just the green/yellow indicator on the smartphone app.

Absolutely awesome! Measures and monitors sleep, heart rates, activity levels, you name it. You can download or watch videos for fitness routines, reminds you to get up and move, you can join in groups with you friends, etc. You can also challenge yourself and friends to keep active!! So so much more!

Excellent easy to read. Only issue is that while traveling to LA time change would not reflect new location.

I love this device. It tracks steps and heart rate which are two key components for my fitness monitoring. The battery life is about 7 days, which is a lot for the display and activity. Only negative is that I need to physically sync this to my fitbit account. The device does not automatically sync with my account.

The Fitbit Charge 2 does help me keep moving - or start moving. I adjusted my steps down from 10,000 daily to 8,000 as I wanted to see success for the steps I did do, and I like the Charge 2's flexibility to tailor the goals. I gave it 4 instead of 5 because of the band that comes with it. I didn't like the plastic wristband and purchased a leather band instead.

This upgrade is much improved from the original Charge HR model. Sturdy metal frame, bigger screen, super long battery life (5 days are plenty of time to remember to top up the battery), and better sleep monitoring make this a must. It feels a bit bigger than my last charge HR but I got used to it quickly.

I am really impressed with the Fitbit Charge 2 that I bought at Best Buy! It works marvelously and constantly challenges me to move more and to exercise more. I love trying to get 250 steps every hour during the day and 5 activities during the week. Some of the other goals are a little hard to get motivated by but are interesting nevertheless. Fitbit does a great job of keeping you informed about how you're doing including a weekly email summarizing what you did in the last week and how that compares with the previous week. The device is quite comfortable on my wrist but I do find it helpful to remove it occasionally to let the skin under it breathe. I usually do this when I'm relatively inactive and/or charging the device. It does charge very quickly and easily lasts about 4-5 days even with heavy activity use such as jogging, walking or working out. The help files built into the app are very helpful in understanding how to use the device and they also have a Twitter Support team that are incredibly helpful in addressing questions you might have.

I only gave it 4 stars because the band is starting to separate from watch. I’ll need to contact Fitbit. I’ve heard they have really good customer service.

Purchased this to replace my old Fitbit Surge. Battery wouldn't last a day. With this, I can go almost a week before needing to recharge. Connected easily with my phone using previously installed app. The sleep tracker is much improved with breakdowns of Deep Sleep, Light, REM, and awake.

Couldn't wait for this to come out. Previously owned a Fitbit charge but liked the fact that this does heart rate plus has an interchangeable band. The battery last almost a week, and only takes about an hour to charge. Charger is easy to use also. Pleasantly surprised that the heart monitor is so accurate. Nice!!!

Really enjoying this tracker. Tracks steps, flights of stairs; pulse rate, sleep quality; and much more. I really like it because the strap is more secure that the other Fitbit trackers (lost one because of strap). This strap is secure like a watch band. It also notifies you of text/calls. I'm really loving it.
