Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the Charge 2's accurate heart rate and sleep tracking capabilities, along with its ease of use and long battery life. Many appreciate the device's step tracking and the additional features it offers. However, some concerns exist regarding the band's durability and the lack of full waterproofing. The screen size and notifications are also frequently praised.

This is my second Fitbit, and I'm pleasantly surprised by the extras, especially the ability to read text messages. I was on the fence between the Charge 2 and the Alta. Honestly I would have preferred the Alta because it is smaller and less bulky on my small wrist, but because it doesn't have the buckle closure I went with the Charge 2, which does, I had the original Charge and did not really like the closure, I was always worrying about it coming off. Overall I have nothing but good things to say, the battery life is very good. I've only had to charge it once a week since I got it. Even the Fitbit app is much improved.

Overall, great product. Wish it was swimproof. Only complaint I have is that sometimes raising your wrist to view clock or stats does not work, especially if you are sitting down. Almost always works when raising arm from your side (as in a standing position). This is easily fixed by pressing the side button or tapping on device (have to tap hard, this is not a touchscreen device). If you want a full-featured smartwatch, this is not for you. Limited screen real estate and notification support is limited to text and phone calls (at least on iOS). If you want a reliable fitness tracker at a reasonable price, buy it now.

My wife had a Samsung gear fit 2 and wanted something a bit more simple. After a couple days of fine tuning the features, she's loving it! She said that she probably won't go back to a non fitbit watch~

This Charge 2 is the first fitness tracker that I have owned. It was simple to set up out of the box. If you have any questions on setup or use you can always search for an online video. The tracker does all that it says on the box. You just have to learn how to use the settings and controls to get all of the benefits. I have yet to try to network with anyone but this is can be a good motivator. I would recommend it to anyone trying to implement or sustain a beginner to moderate fitness plan. The only drawback so far is the inability to wear it while swimming, but I understood that limitation when I purchased it.

I've had a Fitbit for a few years now. This is my first Charge (I have the Charge 2) and I love it! I like that it reminds me to move during the day. You can set it for that feature however you want. Plus, I didn't think I'd like the alarm but I do! Again, you can set it for any time and any day you want. Was not too thrilled with the standard buckle type band that came with it. Took too long to get it on so I ditched that band and got a magnetic one from Amazon. Now it's just perfect!

Granted, the improvement is due to time and technological improvements... but I am really liking this Charge 2. There are a few "limitations" but as of current devices available, I would give this a 4.5. I also have the Aria (scale) so I love how everything works together within the same app, along with others like Jiff. Battery life is great and last me quite a few days, which is nice since I wear it nearly 24/7. If you are looking for something middle of the road in pricing, but with a lot of smart watch functionality (time, HR, stopwatch, etc) I strongly suggest this option.

Bought this as a replacement because the one I had for about two years basically fell apart on my wrist. I would suggest getting the replacement plan to not have to make this purchase over again later.

I bought this fit bit and I loves it. A month later my husband bought me an apple watch for my birthday . I used it for 3 days, hated it! The Apple watch takes a class to educate you on its use. The fit bit was way easier to use and set up. Plus, I don't need my phone near me for it to track my steps. Plus, my fit bit tracked my sleep too. Fit bit just offered more of what I wanted. I Its so easy to use and it does so much. I love my fit bit watch. I have since returned my apple watch.

    Charge 2 solves Charge issues

I had the original change and the change 2 solved a few of the old issues I had. The band broke twice on the original charge and the small charging cable always disconnected the charge when I was driving. The new charge has interchangeable bands and the charger connects more securely than the original charge. Highly recommended and the new sleep analysis done to see what length you stay at different states such as R.E.M. and deep sleep. Would buy this again without any worries.

I have used Fitbit (3 models) Apple, & Samsung. I still come back to Fitbit. I think it’s due to the easy functionality and it gives you exactly what you want without your text messages bugging you during work outs. I love the HR features and the Scale connections. The most amazing feature is if you misplace or watch is stolen, Fitbit will pull up your email it’s attached to and replace it free or at 50% off. Can’t beat that! Gotta LOVE FITBIT!!!!

Shortly after purchasing they did an upgrade that would allow two metrics to display at once. I use the steps and heart rate indicators as my motivators when exercising through out the day. The greatest thing that has pushed my lifestyle change is the app and calorie counts. Forced me to pay attention to the amount of food I ate by how many calories I had burned versus the intake. The app allows you to scan bar codes or enter by description and track the food you are eating.
