    I received the Fitbit as a gift. I admit that I wear it almost all the time to track my steps for the day. When I first got it, I wore it along with my pedometer to compare step count. Amazingly, there was a huge difference between them...the pedometer tracked more steps...which is why I gave a 4 star rating and not 5; however, I do like the other features the Fitbit offers. So, if I have to take more steps (offsetting the pedometer count), then I'm ok with it.
