    I bought this to replace a Microsoft Band 2 that died on me. I was concerned about all the bad reviews of the Fitbit app on Windows / Windows Phone, but decided to try it anyway. After about a month of usage I can say that the Fitbit itself works OK, except for the heart rate monitor. It loses my heartbeat way too often during cardio/weight workouts. The result is that a 30-minute walk typically shows more calories burnt than a 30-minute strenuous workout. The Fitbit recommendation to wear the fitbit high is junk: the shape of the arm plus sweat make it slide down anyway. As for the app, it's OK, except that sync has gotten very slow after just 3 weeks. It times out, causing me to retry several times. I would not recommend the Fitbit Charge 2, but I don't know better options out there right now.
