I love my fit bit. I wear it all the time, even to bed, to track my sleep. Very good investment in my health. I purchased a second one for a family member.

I have both this and the Samsung Gear 2. I think the fit bit is more accurate. Its not colorful and doesn't give text message alerts but it does what its supposed to do.

I have enjoyed competing with my friends and family with daily/weekly step challenges. Motivates me to get up and walk rather than sit and watch more TV! Haha

    Worth it, but problematic

This is my 2nd Fitbit (I owned the 1st generation Charge). I had to return my first Charge 2 because the tracker refused to pair with any device I owned (Android phone, iPad, Windows 7 laptop, Windows 10 desktop). It was clearly defective, as the second tracker I received in an exchange paired immediately. I replaced my 1st gen Charge because soon after the 1-year warranty period had passed, it began failing (battery life dropping, syncing failures, refusal to change time zone after travel). It was also falling apart (screen was seriously chipped and the band was falling apart--a bit of Googling revealed this to be a common problem). A good friend of mine recently bought a Charge 2, and after a couple weeks of light wear, his screen was showing scratches and dings. So, the build quality is still shoddy (it's quite surprising that they don't use gorilla glass for the screen). In terms of functionality, it's marginally better than the 1st generation Charge. I do enjoy it's ability to make use of my mobile's GPS for runs--and that's about it. I personally find the meditation/breathing feature to be useless (I do meditate, but I don't need my Fitbit for that). So, why did I purchase it? Aside from the stated problems, I find the tracking functionality useful--so in the end, the positives outweigh the negatives by just a bit. And I was purchasing it to replace the shoddily built Charge 1. I've purchased a screen protector and ruggadized band for the Charge 2, and so far that has worked really well (I shouldn't have to do that, since I do not treat my tracker roughly, but it is what it is). When the Charge 2 expires, I will seriously consider trackers from other companies.

The size of the fitbit is perfect for her wrist. Also, being able to buckle it like a normal watch is a plus. The bands can be replaced with is a nice feature.

Not only is the steps part good but keeping up with my sleep is good. I check all the parts of the sleep data and find it very interesting.

I bought the new Fitbit Charge 2 in a teal color, and my wife loves it. She bought the original Fitbit Charge for me last year. I like my original version as well, but the new Charge 2 is definitely nicer than the first Charge. It has several new features that the original doesn't have. The biggest improvement in the Charge 2 is the much larger LCD screen. It gives you even more details and stats, and best of all, it is so much easier to read because of its larger display. She runs a good bit and loves how it keeps up with all of her data, so she can see how she does each day and compare it to her other runs.

I enjoy also competing with friends on steps. I used my fitbit when hiking in Hawaii. It was fun to watch the stairs and steps as I hiked up to waterfalls. I wear my Fitbit while I sleep too and enjoy tracking how I slept. Great data!

I got this Fitbit for a program through my work and have really enjoyed using it. it's interesting to see what your heart rate does throughout the day and helps you realize just how active you really are or aren't on certain days.

Not ready to quite jump into the world of smart watches but was looking for a fitness tracker with a larger face and that'll do everything a fitness tracker is supposed to do. Fits the bill. Only thing I wish is that it were water proof.

The Fitbit is a great way to track your activity, jolt you to get up and walk to do something every hour and see how you are sleeping. I am very happy with this so far.

I love my Charge2. Does everything I want without having all the bells and whistles that I don't want in a tracker. Not difficult to learn either.
