I bought this to track my different workouts and to tell me the calories burned. It does a great job with that. Also wanted to be reminded to move each hour and drink plenty of water. Found I was not doing nearly as well as I thought I was. All and all I'm glad I bought it.

Since I have a Windows Phone, I still much prefer the Microsoft Band that I previously had. The Band had more features that synced better with my Phone. The sleep mode on the Charge doesn't seem as accurate. The flick the wrist feature to activate the screen sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. All in all, it works well for me, but I wish Microsoft came out with a new Band.

Went to Bestbuy for my wife to pick out a Fitbit since several of her friends had one and she is trying to get her activity level up. She loves it! We bought the scale at the same time since you can link them all together on the Fitbit app. She even convinced me to get a Fitbit!

Good buy for the wife, although the band seems to irritate her skin.

My old Fitbit bit the dust while on vacation. I did my research and decided to try the Charge 2. Great decision! It is so much more than a fitness tracker. Love it as a watch, love how it alerts me to texts and calls. It has really helped me stay on track with my weight loss.

    Broke after 6 months

The band on the Fitbit would not stay connected after 6 months. Had to go exchange it. If I had not purchased the protection plan I would have had to pay for a new one. I figured the protection plan would at least guarantee two years of a working Fitbit - wrong. To fix the broken band they exchanged the Fitbit for a new one. Because they gave a new one they said the old protection plan had been used and did not apply to the new Fitbit. So knowing Fitbits do not last, I purchased another two year "protection" plan. Doing the math based on this experience of it lasting 6 months a working Fitbit costs $149 + $160 = $309 for to ensure two years worth of use for what should at most be $189 with a protection plan. And if the quality was good enough you should not need the $40 protection plan.

I really like my Christmas present. The Fitbit is AWSOME. I like the color,Plum Silver, the style, and how sleek it is. My son also received one for Christmas in black. We were surprised and happy to get this as a gift. We are challenging each other on becoming fit in the new year.

After returning my Samsung Gear watch due to the "manly" band, I purchased the charge 2 hr. I am very happy with my purchase, but some of the things I don't like: it says I had steps for stairs which I never used the stairs that particular day. Also, apparently I walk in my sleep because when I get up I have steps already some days. Other than that, I would recommend this.

The fitbit has really made me more active. It tells you when to move and keeps track of how long you have been inactive. Phone messages come across the screen and you can track water and food intake. It tracks your sleep also but feel like that can be improved it is not totally accurate. It is a great start to trying to be more healthy by being able to visualize what you do.

this series between the other models for me is most bang for buck, the others may have bigger screen and some extra little features, but when you think about it, not really needed. this for any person that has small hands/wrist, this model fitbit is best, looks best on your wrist.

My husband wanted a comfortable to wear device with an easy to read display. Friends had a similar Fitbit and were happy with them. He uses it mostly to count steps and appreciates the alerts to incoming calls and texts. He knows there are loads of other features, but are not quite as easy to figure out. Luckily, Best Buy is great at helping those less tech savvy!

I received my Fitbit as a Christmas gift and I have been wearing it ever since. Best Buy was a little pricey so I checked out the Fitbit.com website and they were a little cheaper so Best Buy matched the price. I haven't had any problems with my device and it has many features to use depending on what ones needs are. Plus side - it syncs both with my phone and my tablet.

Was not a big fan of the Charge that I'd had for at least a couple of years previously as the band kept splitting and I had to have it replaced twice. The Charge 2 is GREAT! Adjustable watch-type band which is adjustable and very comfortable. Love it! And it tracks well too.
