My wife was updating from her old Charge HR. The New Charge 2 is better In every way. From the battery life to the larger display screen. Even the band feels better to her.

This may not be the fanciest of the Fitbits, but it's one of my favorites. Has all the basics you really need, including notifications. Super durable also.

The watch seems to work great. The heart rate monitor is within a few bpm as the one on my eliptical. Steps/flights keep counting when using a riding mower or golf cart, so make sure to remove it prior. Overall, I am glad I purchased it.

my only complaint would be is that the band seems to come unglued over time. That is why I buy the best buy warranty. As far as function it does everything as advertised and can be a good motivational tool if you use the notifications.

The screen scratches very easily. The bands break every couple of months. It does work as advertised but it might be a little pricey for the actual quality that you get.

The Charge 2 has been everything I've wanted in a fitness tracker. The app works well with iPhone and the heart rate feature is a must if you're going to track your health.

I like this product a lot & have already recommended it to several friends. Of course, I wear it to bed & can see what time it is very quickly if I wake up at night.

I had the original charge hr which worked well, but the new Charge HR 2 is still a vast improvement. More workout options, better battery life, more color & band options.

Got this for my wife who is very non Tech oriented and she loves it. Had the basic Fitbit before, but had to upgrade and she has taken to this very easily. While the Charge 2 has lots more bells and whistles, very easy to learn.

I have both this and the Samsung Gear 2. I think the fit bit is more accurate. Its not colorful and doesn't give text message alerts but it does what its supposed to do.

This is my 2nd Fitbit (I owned the 1st generation Charge). I had to return my first Charge 2 because the tracker refused to pair with any device I owned (Android phone, iPad, Windows 7 laptop, Windows 10 desktop). It was clearly defective, as the second tracker I received in an exchange paired immediately. I replaced my 1st gen Charge because soon after the 1-year warranty period had passed, it began failing (battery life dropping, syncing failures, refusal to change time zone after travel). It was also falling apart (screen was seriously chipped and the band was falling apart--a bit of Googling revealed this to be a common problem). A good friend of mine recently bought a Charge 2, and after a couple weeks of light wear, his screen was showing scratches and dings. So, the build quality is still shoddy (it's quite surprising that they don't use gorilla glass for the screen). In terms of functionality, it's marginally better than the 1st generation Charge. I do enjoy it's ability to make use of my mobile's GPS for runs--and that's about it. I personally find the meditation/breathing feature to be useless (I do meditate, but I don't need my Fitbit for that). So, why did I purchase it? Aside from the stated problems, I find the tracking functionality useful--so in the end, the positives outweigh the negatives by just a bit. And I was purchasing it to replace the shoddily built Charge 1. I've purchased a screen protector and ruggadized band for the Charge 2, and so far that has worked really well (I shouldn't have to do that, since I do not treat my tracker roughly, but it is what it is). When the Charge 2 expires, I will seriously consider trackers from other companies.
