wanted to track info but not be automatically linked to my computer and cell phone. just interested in the heart rate, steps, etc that are health stuff.

I bought a Fitbit for my sisters as a gift for Christmas and they loved it now they go out together and exercise more often and have fun competing for the best score. They connected them to there phones and it shows there statuses on facebook. It makes working out fun agian for them and makes me happy to have them more active. My sister just bought one for my niece so now shes in the fitbit club lol. Check it out I recommend it.

I bought it for my wife and wasn't sure what her reaction would be. She loves it and wears it everyday. I have a fitbit as well and so it seems that now before dinner every night we are comparing who has more steps. It lightweight and comfortable. The only negative is it's starting to leave a small rash on her wrist. Not sure what that's from.

There are lots of fitness trackers out there that are expensive. The Fitbit is perfect for tracking your needs in the day at an inexpensive price.
