I had the Fitbit HR and upgraded to the Charge 2. This keeps you motivated all day long. Gives me incentive to get my 250 steps every hour.

I thought the charge HR was nice but this is way better. More sleek, easier to use, more features. Just all around better. Works great too!

I have always been a very fitness-oriented person, but decided to purchase a fitbit for two reasons: First, because I coach track and needed a watch that could also function as a stopwatch. Second, I was curious about tracking the average amount that I walk each day. I am very impressed on all fronts, and in addition have found the tracking of sleep to be an added benefit. Finally, I think that the fitbit device has such potential to elevate the fitness awareness of all types, and see it as a benefit to overall health of society.

So far so good with this one. I started with the Blaze, and it quit on me 3 months after the purchase. I refused to pay $200 more for the next one up, so I decided on the Charge 2. I've had it 2 months now, and haven't had any problems with it. It appears to be quite accurate in the step count; which is why I mainly wear the Fitbit. I use a couple other features, but mostly just monitor my steps. Wearing the Fitbit has made me get up and move more for sure. I was told by the sales person that the Charge 2 can be worn in the shower, but the instructions specifically state not to wear it in water. Thankfully I read through the instruction booklet before ruining it.

I returned this after 2 weeks. I previously had the Charge HR and returned that one as well. If you are looking for a gadget to help motivate you to move more, the Fitbit is great. It's easy to use and I loved the hourly reminders to get up and walk. However, Fitbits are NOT accurate. I have a 4.5 mile loop that I walk and both the Charge HR and the Charge HR 2 would record it around 3.1 miles. I got 100 steps for the arm/hand movement when I was washing my face. If these products were under $50.00 I might justify it but at $149 ($129 on sale),I don't think it's worth it.

Heart Rate and Calorie calculator has room for imp

I had fitbit One since 2013. I was excited to get a charge 2 to monitor my heart rate and better calculate calories. I enjoy the ability to see and improve my resting heart rate. I also like seeing the sleep information. One problem, which is big for me, is that the heart rate is not always picked up when doing intense exercise. Especially when you are very sweaty after 1 hour. I got so frustrated I threw it the other day because it wouldn't catch my heart rate. Also, it does not count steps for biking. Also, you must record your exercise times to be able to get more accurate calorie amount. However, the calorie count is much less with this than the One.

I purchased my Fitbit to track my heart rate while exercising. I am past 70 and am going to the gym for the first time in my life. I am learning to set the device to record the variety of activities in my exercise program.

I gave this watch to my sister as a gift and while she is not a super active person she enjoyed it a lor as she loves the small stylish look, as she does not like usong normal watches she can still get all her phone notifications but with a watch that look more like a bracelet than a watch, as she said.

This is a tentative rating because this item is a Christmas gift. It has yet to be opened. However, from past use, the Fitbit trackers have provided excellent service and longevity. I anticipate the same from this Fitbit.

We purchased the Fitbit Charge 2 for our teenaged daughter who is health-concious and enjoys wearing a wristwatch. It was imperative that that we purchase a watch that tells time (who'd have thought!) and has the capability of setting alarms. She enjoys the convenience of seeing texts on her wrist, and seeing caller-id without taking her phone out of her pocket. The alarms are silent, but vibrate on her wrist. She appreciates the reminders to keep active, and the fact that her steps are automatically calculated. A great product.
