Fire some reason when I am at the gym on the treadmill and I track it on my fit bit it isn't accurate in distance. I don't know why, but I'll do 2 miles and it only says 1.43 or some other wrong distance

I bought this because I have a mild heart arythmia so I wanted to keep track of my highs and lows. This monitor beyond sucks!! This said my rating HR was 88.... even though my dr prescribed monitor said my resting HR is 68-72. This monitor also said my sleeping HR was 80.... which my Dr’s monitor says 38-42 (yes, extremely low). I was redlining at the gym and SUPRISE it read 90.... once I basically collapsed after sprinting on the assault bike for 1min on/1min off for 8 rounds, it wasn’t until after 5min of lying on the ground it then read 185. It’s a joke. Don’t waste your money.

I bought this for my granddaughter. Her mom spent a few hours trying to get this to work with the phone. Never could link it. Will have to exchange. Hopefully another will work for them.

The Charge 3 looks slick. It integrated well with the Fitbit iOS app. It has a lot of unexpected functions, like displaying text messages and tracking sleep. There is just one problem: it doesn’t count steps well. Mine overcounts steps by hundreds, sometimes thousands of steps per day (as compared with the step counter in my iPhone). I previously had an earlier generation Fitbit and it did it’s primary job well. The Charge 3? Not so much.

I purchased the charge 3 as my last fitbit opportunity, choosing the latest model. I do not like the size of the screen, it is too small especially when reading text messages. I would not purchase again

    Screen problems

I have had this Charge 3 for 1 year and I am so disappointed. I love the available features but you can only see the screen if you are in a dark room. You see nothing outside! I have done everything customer service at Fitbit suggested and it might work for a day but not that always. The adjustment for the Charge to determine what light you are exposing it to makes the whole screen totally blank. To fix that you have to go in a totally dark room or a closet to even fix it. You can't even see the time if you are outside in daylight.

Bluetooth connection stopped working after 2+ months. 3+ weeks after contacting Fitbit they finally replaced it with another one. It lasted about 2 months when it did the same thing as the first one last weekend! There is no visible damage to them. Durability is highly questionable!

THe clock faces are not very good and had to go back to traditional from digital. Use and flip thru screens is not as easy as looks. Other than water resistant it is not much better than Charge 2

I don’t think this device is accurate. I now only use it for swimming laps and I hope it is accurate but for walking and running it is not.

I was excited about this at first but Only worked for a month. It never counted all my steps though. The clip Fitbit was the best with accuracy. Also after a month wouldn’t even sync. Horrible. Upset Bc I also bought the scale but have no problems so far with that. They just need to make the clip one water proof for swimming. Screw the rest of them.

Gave as a gift and recipient was getting this replacing and older Fitbit model. Only has it for a few days so the jury is old. Will follow up after using it for a month.

My charge 3 was perfect until recently. The screen got a black line in it, and now won't sync. The app is useful, and I loved seeing my progress. Now, I am just disappointed.

The alerts for texts and phone calls only happen when you are right by your phone. With the charge 2 I could be downstairs and my phone upstairs and I received alerts.

I would never buy this again my numbers keep going light on the face of my phone. Sometimes I can’t even see it at all I bought my client one and he is not working immediately he had to call to get a new. Please don’t waste your money the sleep pattern is way off sometimes I could be up and then it will say that I slept all night. This is one of the main reasons I bought this Fitbit watch because it supposed to be better but it’s not very disappointed

Does not display time when I look at face as it should,Not on sleep mode. Fit bit web site lacks food items for calorie tracking. A little bulky to sleep with, but great technology!

I like the tracker's features. Love the detailed sleep tracker. A few issues encountered which were generally resolved by the fitbit community and support with the exception of the abrupt stop of my notifications. Sadly the MAIN reason for this being my choice of tracker, the waterproof feature failed miserably after 20 minutes in the pool. The motor shorted out and I had to express my disappointment and a replacement was provided. Now I have to take my tracker off for the pool and beach HOW DISAPPOINTING!!!

It is easy to see the time in the middle of the screen but very hard to see heart rate, steps, stairs, calories burned etc. I prefer the charge 2 to this one.
