Notification feature glitches. Be sure to run the updates. Otherwise, your device will not function. Other than that, it does the job.

I would prefer an app which allowed for keeping data private if the owner so desired.

The product would be great if it actually functioned properly.. I bought 1 and 2 weeks later had issues with it syncing to app.. replaced it and only to have the same issues AS WELL AS I started to lose daily progress.. for example i have 33k steps, went to sync with app and it zeroed my steps for the day.. happed twice in one week.

But charge 3 is water proof, has the weather and other apps to it. So it kind of evens out ok which would be better 2 or 3

This is the second fitbit I've owned after purchasing a brand new Inspire HR from Amazon early 2019. The Inspire HR immediately didn't work with the step counter being incredibly off and tracked steps while I was at work as a Cashier. Every time I moved my hand to scan an item, several steps were counted no matter what hand I put the watch on and what sensitivity I set it too, even after speaking to their tech support. I sent that back and decided to try this Charge 3 as I wanted one that was waterproof for swimming and while the step counter is still wrong no matter what I do, it's marginally better. It, at least, didn't count a 30 minute swim just because I raised my hand over my head to stretch. However, now the battery has pretty much been giving out on me. I charge it and says full charge and then I wear it for a couple hrs and the screen will just go black and it will die. This has happened several times at this point and I'm over it. I should have just saved up for an Apple Watch earlier.

Lots of settings, however it seems to count steps even when I’m in bed. There are tons of options for the band.

App keeps getting stuck. I have to delete it and reinstall about 2 or 3 times every couple weeks. So I loose acute readings.

The step count is so inaccurate. Driving all day and it is counting steps like crazy. Talked to customer service but no fix for this issue. Other annoying thing was that the screen does not stay lit. Which is the most annoying when you are trying to use the stopwatch feature. And the SpO2 feature is just not turned on by Fitbit. I ended up returning it after 2 weeks.
