    Disappointed

This thing records any move you make as a step. Lift your glass, that's a step. Raise your arm, that's a step too. Severely lacking in the accuracy department. And it also lacked the ability to let you create your own workouts and track them. What it did offer was limited, and nothing I do... Returned it.

I have called customer support at least four times with problems. Finally , was sent a refurbished item that was just as problematic. Poor product or I may have received a defective one and rather than replace they continued to trouble shoot that would only last for a few months.

I like the fitbit for the exercise and step factor, but the band is not durable.

    Is not good in water

Read all the reviews. Company states it’s good for swimming. Once it has gone in the water, it stops holding the charge for as long as it did before it was wet. The first time it got wet it stop working and it had to be rebooted. It worked again but it had to be linked to my phone for the reboot to take place.

This was a gift for my mother and would of been awesome had it not stopped working less than 30 days after working. Usage was low as my mother only wore it to work as nurse working at a desk.

the first one I got I wore in the pool since it is rated to 50 meters, but the next day it wouldn't work at all so I returned it for an exchange. the new one I haven't worn in water at all since then. one other issue I have is I wish you could make what displays on the screen larger/easier to read.

My FitBit broke after one year of use

My FitBit broke after one year of use. I did not abuse it or treat it harshly. It stopped communicating to my phone, so there is no way to sync it up and keep proper time. So if you buy this, get the extended warranty. I'm going back to a good, ole, dependable Timex.

Although the Fitbit 3 holds a charge longer, the lettering (and numbers) is so much smaller that it is impossible to read without putting on your glasses and stopping what you are doing so you can see the text (numbers and all), I am sorry I did not buy a new Charge 2 instead of the Charge 3.

This is the third Fitbit (2 Versas and this Charge 3) that has malfunctioned on my wife and I. We've used the warranty program through fitbit to get replacements and they did the same thing. Constant screen blackouts and freezes. Beyond unreliable and I'm switching from Fitbit.

Had to rerun. Couldn’t read without stopping to put glasses on. In my line of work (cattle) it gets confused when your riding a quad to check cattle adds couple thousand steps. If you want to do some cool things you have to buys monthly app. Returned both mine and husbands

A buggy mess. The dial would often freeze which required changing the clock face on the app. That is, before it died completely after a year of using it. Make a hard pass on Fitbit. There are more reliable options out there.

The font on the charge 3 is much smaller than the charge 2. It is very disappointing. Can’t read text messages, and very hard to read the other screens as well. Good quality but definitely a step backwards from the charge 2.

I loved my charge 2. Loved its accuracy. I found all the functions helpful and informative. Looked forward to water proof aspect of charge 3. Hate my charge 3... won't charge... steps not accurate... and doesn't record sleep pattern. Hate it

I bought two of these items last year for the holidays. Both of them are broken. Unfortunately, I did not purchase extended warranties for either watch as I expected them to last longer than a year.
