To many problems to count. System locks up and will not restart, counts floor's while never leaving the ground. Just not satisfied with this new Fitbit what so ever. Wish I would have purchased something else.

Don't Buy Fitbit Charge 3 - Horrible Functionality

Do not buy a Fitbit Charge 3. If you have an Alta and want more functionality - go with another company like Apple or Garmin. Fitbit has added a bunch of useless functions, made access and readability impossible and changed the texting scroll from the Alta to make it unreadable. I contacted Fitbit. They know they made a mistake in changing this but don't even have a solution in development. It's a bad way to upsell good customers that with an inferior step up. Don't buy it. Don't be fooled to think enhancements are useful. If you want more, go with an Apple or Garmin watch.

I've owned a fitbit before without any problems. But this the battery on this device died within 6 to 8 weeks. I called fitbit and after jumping through a few hoops, they sent me another Charge 3 free of charge. After 6 to 8 weeks that battery has also died. I was told by Fitbit customer service my only course of action is to go back to Best Buy which I plan to do. But, according to many people, the battery in these watches are suboptimal and will not last. I suggest you take your money and invest in another product until they fix this problem.

Connected to charge and instead just drained the battery. Dont know if it's an issue with the charging device or watch because its completely dead and useless after only one month of use. Not a happy customer!

This is the 3rd Fitbit I've bought and I'm so disappointed in the product. This time the pixels have gone on it so I have to guess at the time and other numbers and letter. I'm done no more for me.

There is a defect with the charge 3 that Fitbit is aware of; yet they replaced free. Black lines come across the screen till eventually you can't read it. Great product until that happens.

These watches are really a disappointment. Minimal functionality at the same cost as some full-feature Apple and Android Wear devices. These really are disappointing so unless you already have and love FitBit, I would stay away.

It worked until it didn't. I was a long time fitbit guy. I switch to a Google smartwatch. I swear the fitbit has an internal time to break after their warranty is up. Customer service is never helpful.

    Worse than Charge 2

I upgraded when my Charge 2 screen cracked and I wanted to try the waterproof features. I haven’t gone swimming, but I’m already annoyed. The stair counter is too sensitive. I do the same routine daily. I used to get 10-11 stairs, now I get 30. I get stai credit on flat ground. Also, the sleep tracker is wack. I used to get one night a week where it couldn’t read me. now, most nights I only get a couple hours credit. Not happy... however I do like the added features .

Image of time and activity measurements gone blank

I would have liked a booklet that explained the images and how the measurements work. I was beginning to follow part of it when the screen/face went blank; not from lack of charge. Also, the watch informed me that it didn't register any sleep before it went blank. I started to use it 12 days after purchase and it only worked for three weeks. I also bought one for my son. I hope his continues to work.

I did not whant to guess my steps for today using a new fitbit. Every time you move your hand it counts a step . If I had read this in a review I would not have wasted today purchasing and testing this unit, at work ,climbing stairs, commuting riding a bicycle . I have a samsung 7 android and none of my stats are true. The reason I'm returning item fitbit charge 3 continued to vibrate every 2 minutes in bike mode . Might be compactbility with my old phone GPS
