Returned product, purchases three, one for two other family members and myself. 2 of 3 stopped working in the first week. Previous models have been great.

1st within 6 months I needed a new band, 2 years later the battery died, and didn't take any charge again.

I would not recommend this device, after the first few days I grew concerned about the numbers it was reporting so I tried 2 other devices to test this one gives incredibly inflated results.

Stopped working after a year. FitBit replaced it only to have the replacement stop working after 3 months.

    Nonfunctional out of the box

Got the unit for someone as a gift. Powered up the unit, created an account, installed updates for 15 minutes, and then unable to get any further. The touch screen on the device was completely nonfunctional. Looked online and saw hundreds of other charge three users with similar problems. The only possible workaround requires hooking back to power and trying a reset. I’m not trying to be stuck somewhere without the cord and unable to use the touch functionality. I will not be replacing the unit after seeing all the people with the same problem online.

Got warm on my wrist and never worked again after a year. Second Fitbit that has done this. Going with AppleWatch from now on.

    Loved it until...

I really loved this thing until it burned my skin. I followed all the guidelines and took good care of it but after a while I noticed some weird things...like a pain in my wrist where I was wearing it and sometimes I would feel a vibration in my wrist even when I wasn’t wearing it. Then recently a red itchy lump appeared on my wrist and I felt a burning sensation...only I could feel under my skin, not on the surface. Needless to say I won’t be wearing it ever again and won’t be wearing anything similar.

    High expectations that weren't met

Bought this to try and track my heart rate when it intermittently drops to around 40 beats per minute. It would never show anything below 60 bpm and that was a big disappointment. After about 10 days it stopped recording my heart rate and sleep hours so I returned it for a refund. Also, the the longer wrist band wasn't useable because it wouldn't stay latched. Fitbit is reputed to have the most user friendly software around, but, although I have no experience with any other brand, I didn't find it that simple to use.

I bought this item online. Shipping was fast, no problem there. I got the item for a Christmas gift for someone in my family. When we started the process of downloading and installing everything, the watch started the install and then it went completely blank. The watch froze, wouldn’t connect or restart no matter what we did. I had to return it and I bought a Garmin from Amazon! The lady at the store said she has been getting a lot of returns and thinks there’s a bad batch for sure!! I wish it was different, we have loved Fitbit over the years.

I only gave it 2 stars because it's way off on step counting & so far I haven't found a way to calibrate. I am a Prfessional Driver & it counts steps while I'm driving down the highway.

Although I love my Charge 3, this purchase was a gift and it is not responding as expected in the setup process. I’m afraid I’m going to have to exchange it.

The device gives you steps even if you are sitting on couch and just moving your hands or shows you climbed floor even when you are walking on a plane surface.

I will not own another Fitbit. This is the second one and both had issues. Turn your wrist to look at the time and it didn't come on about a third of the time. The crazy thing was always going off vibrating and flashing with reminders "only 250 more steps!!" "way to go you made 500 steps" Puleeese. Also, only owned this for 6 months and the buckle pulled out of the rubber strap rendering it unusable. Junk. I do not recommend Fitbit at all.

I have had it for one month and it doesn’t switch from one screen to another or record steps. I have had other fitbits and been happy with them. Not this one!
